    •Size 6/1.80mm steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

    Special Stitches

    Beginning cluster (beg CL): Ch 2, keeping last lp of each dc on hook, dc in 2 sts indicated, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook—beg CL made.

    Cluster (CL): Keeping last lp of each dc on hook, dc in 3 sts indicated, yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook—CL made.

    Triple crochet cluster (tr CL): Keeping last lp of each tr on hook, 3 tr in sp indicated, yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook—tr CL made.

    Doily

    With wasabi, ch 8, join to form a ring.

    Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join in first sc.

    Rnd 2: Ch 3 (counts as a dc on this and following rnds), dc in same sc, 2 dc in each rem sc, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (24 dc)

    Rnd 3: Beg CL (see Special Stitches) over same ch as joining and next 2 dc, *ch 9, CL (see Special Stitches) over same st as last dc worked and next 2 dc, rep from * 9 times more, ch 9, CL over same dc as last dc worked, next dc, and same ch as joining of rnd 2, ch 9, join in top of beg CL. (12 ch-9 sps)

    Rnd 4: Sl st in next 5 chs of next ch-9 sp, ch 12 (counts as a dc and a ch-9 sp), *in 5th ch of next ch-9 sp work (dc, ch 5, sc in 4th ch from hook, ch 1, dc), ch 9, rep from * 10
