    Susan Willis looked at the warped blade in her hands and felt calm.
    She walked over to the window and reflected on her quiet surroundings. She had always loved idyllic Amsterdam with its ancient, ashamed arches. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel calm.
    Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Shane Cockle. Shane was a loving rover with ugly hands and short moles.
