Beautiful book...reading the blurb I thought it would be an emotional book but I had no idea how emotional. Poppy seems to have the perfect life, soldier husband Mart and children Peg and Maxy. She discovers a lump in her breast in the shower and her and her families lives are changed forever. This book follows Poppy and her families story though her diagnosis of incurable cancer. Parts of the book break my heart especially when Poppy has to depart this world. Cried my eyes out for most of the book. Beautifully written and so thoughtful and lifelike of someone with incurable cancer. Although the book did show that there was a future for the family. The book reminded me of Before I die by Jenny Downham a must read if you enjoyed this book.

"Will You Remember Me?" was a heart-breaking read. I felt so sorry for Poppy and her family as they struggled to face her imminent death, and my heart broke for Martin the last time he held his wife. However, I also had a number of issues with the novel. The writing was amateurish, the editing poor and the overuse of 'mate' extremely irritating which is why I can't give it a higher rating. I have read much better books about dying from other authors.
