Originally written as a Magazine series for The Inspired Life Project Magazine, Inspired by Fairytales is just what it says on the cover: Inspiration drawn from fairy tales. It takes the time to draw our attentions to lessons we learnt as children from fairy tales but forgot to include in our everyday lives. This book will inspire you to chase your dreams, recover what you have lost, teach you to sustain and keep what have and embrace courage.
Funmilayo Falade
Funmilayo Falade is a Lawyer, Entrepreneur and Presenter with two years of experience in Media House Administration. She discovered her passion for writing at an early age, drawing inspiration from her classmate who she says drew people to her with her excellent fine art skills. Since then she has honed her skills doing everything from writing plays for church dramas, to editing and writing Annual General reports for corporations. Although she initially practiced law, she walked away from the legal profession when she realized that the only part of it she enjoyed was writing briefs, preparing statements and drawing up agreements. She describes the time she spent in law courts as 'the time she planned her blog posts'. Following her exit from the legal profession, she spent some time creating a TV game show for a corporation and served as the editor of a business magazine and writing for an online magazine at the same time. Following a dry spell, she worked with a consulting agency write and edit training materials and it was this very skill that prepared her for a job at a Religious and Media Group - The Empowerment Centre - where she was initially engaged to write and design training materials. Within a short while she was named Head of Legal and Admin and also presented a Daily live show on Cable. By the time she exited the organization to start her own business, she was serving as the Chief Operating Officer for the entire group. She currently runs an SME -Akokeade & Co. - that specializes in writing and editing for individuals and corporation.

I was walking towards home six years ago, when I suddenly came across a thrift book seller. I was so excited seeing all the books laid out and asked him to sell me a novel. Absent mindedly, he thrust his hand into the pile of books and handed one to me whilst he turned to attend to his other customers. The book he handed to me was The Wizard of OZ.. I was disappointed because it was a children's book and he did not have any other novels. I decided to gift it to my little cousins.
Out of curiosity I started to read the book. It was as though someone had turned on the lights in my head because I got more and more inspired reading the conversations that transpired between the characters. So I dug for all all the fairytales I could find and I started
