      Dear Reader,

      Great day to you and thank you for purchasing Sounds of Fire. I wanted to write this note for several reasons―one of them being to thank you and tell you how much I appreciate you. You are truly a blessing and I pray that God blesses, keeps and prospers you all the more. Every time you purchase a book from me, you allow me to continue to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world at whole― for that, I am grateful.

      The next reason I wanted to write this note is to clarify what this book is about. It is a compilation of my social media statuses. These are points of wisdom that God shared with and through me. With that being said, please note that God shares new wisdom through us everyday. Some people are legalistic and when they see wisdom being shared, the very first thing they say is, Give me scriptural backing. This means that they believe that God stopped speaking after the Bible was written and published. God will never go against His Word, but His wisdom is infinite. This means that His wisdom is never-ending and each time He speaks, He confirms what He has already spoken. He is not stuck on repeat.

      I know I don't have to say this to everyone, but I thought it was necessary to come out and explain to the one percent of people who think that God is either dead or mute that:

      1. God still speaks through His prophets and His people. If He didn't, He wouldn't need prophets! Then again, some people don't believe that prophets still exist! They think that all of God's prophets are dead.

      2. Prophets are not parakeets who cite pre-recorded scriptures again and again. We are mouthpieces for God to speak through and He shares new wisdom each and every time He speaks!

      3. This book is a compilation of social media statuses. I don't know a soul who writes a status and then, shares a scripture to back up that status.

      I know that I don't have to explain this to the majority of you, but when legalists come out and try to discredit what the Holy Spirit is saying through His people, they do a huge injustice to the body of Christ because of their limited, legalistic views. I normally don't address people like this, but because I intend to continue recording and resharing the wisdom God has shared with and through me, I wanted to address the topic of legalism. Legalism is being stuck, limited, religious and foolish! It means to have religion without the Holy Spirit. This is to ensure that anyone who is unintentionally legalistic can seek the heart of God for new understanding and for true salvation. This is also designed to serve notice to the devil that you will NOT shut me up! I will continue to share God's infinite wisdom and I won't close my heart to Him the moment I close my Bible!

      To everyone else, thank you once again for your love and continued support. You are the reason that my books continue to receive five star reviews and attention. I appreciate you and thank God for you. This journey has been awesome―to say the least. I look forward to sharing with you more of what God is sharing with me.       Introduction

      Fire releases several sounds, depending on what it comes in contact with. For example, when doused with water, fire often makes a sizzling sound. When it touches wood, it makes a crackling sound. When fire comes in contact with the wind, it makes a roaring sound. The point is that fire releases a sound when it comes in contact with something; this includes people.

      Hebrews 12:29 refers to God as a consuming fire. Why is this? First, you must consider the nature and power of fire. The three properties of fire are heat, fuel and air. All of these elements are needed to start a fire.

      Heat represents righteousness (in our case). We cannot be lukewarm, but we must be either hot or cold. A believer who is hot is a believer who is active in the things of the Lord. A cold believer is a dead believer.

      The Greek word for wind and spirit is pneuma and is often used to represent the Holy Spirit. When God breathed the breath of life into Adam, man became a living soul.

      Fuel is representative of faith. When a righteous believer has faith in God, that believer provokes God (the consuming fire) to move in his or her situation. No mortal thing can stand against the power of fire because fire alters the state of whatsoever it touches, and so does God.

      The truths in this book will consume many of the lies you've been told. The goal of this manuscript is to present random truths to you so that the state of your mind will be changed so much that your life will have no choice but to change as well.

      Sounds of Fire is a collection of wisdom in the form of quotes, advice and anecdotes, mostly of which were shared on social media by Tiffany Buckner. This book ensures that these truths will not be buried on the Internet, but will instead be gathered together so that they can continue to help believers from all around the world.

      If you're asking God for a husband more than you're asking Him for wisdom, knowledge and understanding, you are asking to become a foolish wife!

      It is possible to be soul-tied to several people while you're legally married to one person. That's why many marriages end; one or both of the spouses weren't truly free to marry.

      Sound of Fire 004

      Every night before I go to bed, I take out the trash even though, in most cases, it is not full. Why do I do this? Because I do not want roaches or any other insects to come forging for food in my house at night. If you leave food lying around, something is bound to come looking for it. Why don't we understand this about unforgiveness?

      Unforgiveness is demon food.

      God told us to not let the sun set on our wrath, or give place to the devil.

      Did you know that when you go to bed angry at someone, you provide demons with a key to your heart? You are allowing demons to move in for the sake of being mad at somebody. That's why you need to take out the trash before you go to bed!

      Forgive folks as soon as they offend you. If you have trouble doing it, go before God and ask Him for an extra dose of humility.

      If you have to repeatedly forgive someone (except the spouse or children), you may want to pray about your relationship with that person.

      It's a whole new day. Don't bring yesterday into today. Remember, Satan goes about seeking whom he may devour. Don't let an unforgiving heart turn you into demon food.
