About this ebook

In life - in our daily life, we experience facts, sensations and feelings. Yet most of the time, in our race against the clock, we forget to take in life’s small details. A simple moment can become unforgettable, one word can make all the difference and an action can become immortal, depending on how they are perceived.
This book is a collection of short stories creating a kaleidoscope of sensations, of ephemeral moments, of ordinary facts and of things we do not understand.
The author handles these from several angles - from a loving to a humorous approach - always offering the reader an easy, quick and objective read, validating the story’s essence and going straight to the point.

    I don’t love you

A girlfriend turned towards her boyfriend as they were both lying in bed, and said to him as he was waking up,

    — I don’t love you.

Pedro, his eyes still shut, opened them in shock.

    — What do you mean?

    — I just don’t love you.

    — Have you ever loved me?

    — Never ever, she replied.

    — I don’t know what to think, he confessed.

    — Don’t be like that, we’ll keep going out with each other, said Pamela, petting her boyfriend’s hair.

    — Was it something I did?

    — Not at all, darling, you’re the best boyfriend in the world. It just so happens that I don’t love you.

    — But I love you, insisted Pedro.

    — Okay, Pamela replied.

The boy got out of bed. He paced around for a bit.

    — It’s six in the morning, Pedro, come back to bed, Pamela said, tapping on the mattress.

He didn’t reply and kept pacing.

    — Do you want to have sex? suggested the girl.

    — How can you think about sex right now? replied Pedro, irritated.

Without a word, Pamela covered herself with the sheet and laid her head on the pillow, her eyes shut. Peter shook her foot and asked,

    — How can you be sure that you don’t love me?

Without even opening her eyes, Pamela replied,

    — Because I don’t miss you when you’re gone.

    Their first kiss

She was dreaming about her first kiss... How would it be? Who would it be with? Where would it be? The young girl spent hours musing about these details.

The boy had similar daydreams about his first kiss.
