About this ebook

A 31 day devotional that features a poem, a passage from scripture, and a personal prayer for each day.
Daily discipleship in the local church context is personal. It's face to face at Wednesday night bible study, Sunday morning service, and at the Saturday afternoon BBQ. Often times daily discipleship is also digital. It's novel-like text messages, emails, and social media posts. What happens when the person you're discipling is deployed overseas to serve in the military for a year? The approximately 8 hour time differential between NYC and Kuwait, or Iraq for example, may present a few challenges to daily discipleship. I wrote this devotional for my friend, and dear brother in Christ, Sergio. A member of the United States Military, who recently left home, family, and the local church to serve our country. His service is respected, appreciated, and admired tremendously. My hope, is that the poems, passages, and prayers found in this book, will serve as a daily encouragement, and assist in long distance discipleship, rendering my brother and I spiritually in sync, although thousands of miles apart. I pray this devotional will reach and connect the souls of many separated saints living apart, due to Military service, imprisonment, missions, and other factors. My brothers and sisters in Christ, we are never alone. Be encouraged, press on, and fight the good fight of faith wherever you find yourself today.
