      I honestly don't know how to rate this book. It waffled between 3 and 4 stars and here's the reason. I think the biggest thing was the career for Amber I went into this book with a preconceived idea about her character. I was wrong. I thought she'd be some spoiled actress who didn't want to settle down. I will say a couple of times when she got mad it did feel a little like a petulant child throwing a temper tantrum. That being said I overall really did enjoy the character. Tom as well. The background the 2 have together is long and deep and makes for a closer relationship. However sometimes the background just felt like physical list then actual love. All the background stories they revist were all about making, having sex, or lust. I didn't feel any other connection from the past.
