Kevins been in college for a year, and has become another would be Romeo. So it's up to Carson to make things right. Kevin pops off and tells her he thinks the baby is Carson anyway. So Carson does something even Amy wasn't suspecting. He asks her to marry him and he'll raise the child as his own. Only condition is that Kevin can never have his baby back. Will Amy marry Carson or try to work things out with Kevin?

This is the second book in the stalker series. Like I said mystery is much different from romance all though there are elements in romance in my stalker books too. Today I finished an another book in my series of Vets coming home, Better Every Day. This book takes the angle of when family interrupts your plans. When a one-night stand is much more. I love this story as it hits home. So two new books out now and more coming.I'm taking the time to write while confined at home. But lack of seeing people outside, and living alone all the time is not new to me. I've got lots of stories to tell so be on the lookout for my newest releases. You might check out my Searchin g for You Indian romance on Amazon too.There are several new free books for you enjoyment, since your stuck at home. Home you enjoy them.As for a bio, suffice it to say, I'm a Texan tried and true. I have grown children and grandchildren and already some great-grandchildren. I've done multi jobs in my lifetime giving me a variety of experiences to write and talk about. I've done many different kinds of work from Texas Instruments, to City of Garland, to working for the Wylie Independent School District. I've worked for a hat factory, filing insurance claims, secretarial work, to waitress work. My writing reflects my varied background. Another note I've had a in home day care for twenty years too. So when I write about something I have a general knowledge of it too, which is a real bonus for me. Just like my public work, my writing varies too from contemporary to historical, I write romance, thrillers, children's. A lot of people might say gee, that's a lot of different jobs, and it is, but, I've learned from them all, and I use that experience in my writing.I want to thank all the readers over a length of time that have tried some of my books.       Chapter One

      He saw her walking down the road and his heart stopped. Her head was bent, her shoulders slumped, her expression lost. It was Amy Benefield, but where was she going, and with a suitcase? She had on a pair of jeans and blouse with a pull over sweater. She was one of the prettiest girls he'd ever known, with her blond hair that curled around her shoulders, and her deep brown eyes that looked so soft all the time. But of course, he knew she was stuck on Kevin. He couldn't really blame her, Kevin was more of a go getter when it came to girls. Still it never kept his heart from leaping every time he looked at her.

      He drove right up to her and stopped. Amy, what's wrong, babe? What are you doin' walking out here in the middle of the road? Carson Walker asked as he got out of the car. There was no traffic on the road this time of day and he knew he didn't have to worry about that. He was worried about Amy.

      Her eyes were trained on the road. Her look was lost.

      Where are, you going, what are you doing? He asked, with concern.

      She didn't answer, didn't look at him.

      Amy, He turned his head in question, What's wrong?

      She still didn't answer.

      He came up to her, and caught her elbow, turning her around to face him.

      She raised her head, her soft brown eyes going over him with tears hovering in the corners. I'm leaving.

      Leaving? He repeated her word. Leaving where? Where are, you going babe?

      I don't know. Away somewhere I guess. She muttered miserably.

      He reached for her suitcase, and then her hand. Come on, let's go somewhere and talk. His voice had a softness about it that could calm a storm. Carson knew there was something wrong and he aimed to get to the bottom of it. As much as he commanded, he calmed even more. He'd been her friend forever, but there was something about him today that made her respond to his gentle commands. She followed.

      I need to find a place before dark. She said hesitantly.

      A place. You aren't making much sense. What's wrong? Talk to me. It's me, Carson, your buddy. Tell me what is bothering you so. I want to help you.

      She looked up now, staring into
