    Introduction

    Feeling sluggish, fighting chronic health problems and dealing with allergies are the main reasons people initially try The Elimination Diet. It is a very useful tool that will bring the body into balance with an optimal state of health by focusing on healing at the cellular level. Nightshade vegetables, such as tomatoes, peppers and eggplant, are removed from the diet, as are certain nuts, during the first two phases of the diet in order to give the digestive system a chance to regroup.
