    I didn't like it. Way too general, not practical at all. I think it's better to read a good book about meditation. Also plenty of links at the end of the book are broken

    Really i must say excellent, amazingapp. Ikigai: The Japanese Secret Philosophy for a Happy Healthy Long Life With Joy and Purpose Every Day is a very good audiobook. I listened to this audiobook and I felt very nice. The content is really enriched by a very good thing. Contents are also very meaningful.

About The Power Of Now

THE POWER OF NOW: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment by Eckhart Tolle was first published in the late 1990s and has since been recommended by Oprah Winfrey and translated into over 30 languages. The intention of Tolle’s book is to provide a guide for enlightenment for the average person in his or her day-to-day life. More specifically, Tolle teaches the reader how to reach enlightenment by living in the present moment, a feat easier said than done.

The book draws from a number of spiritual traditions, from Buddhism to Christianity to mysticism, to create a belief system based on lifting people up and out of the emotional and mental traps they’ve created for themselves. It teaches the reader how to simply be aware of the present, rather than becoming preoccupied with the past or future. The past is gone, the author wisely points out, and the future will only be negatively impacted when all thoughts associated with it are anxiety-driven.

Tolle proposes that many people’s chief source of pain is their feeling that they need to control their life. He sets forth several practical, everyday methods of relaxation and meditation to help anchor
