      My aunt has 30 pairs of these lovebirds, kept in her garden. And no way has she sold the babies. She just gives them away to relatives and responsible friends! Another friend wanted just one little bird, which even though is song- less, is still chirpy, merry, and just like a canary, brings happiness into any sort of gloomy atmosphere or room.

      But auntie told her that no little bird deserved this sort of loneliness. The friend could not believe it. So remember that lovebirds are social little birds, and definitely cannot be happy alone. And she intended to leave that little bird all alone, in her house, and
