About this ebook

Once again, the ancient Cree shaman comes out of the backwoods of his home in the forests of southern Canada to enlist the aid of the Canadian Royal Mounted Police in stopping the savage, murderous killing spree that has taken the lives of a family on vacation in the snowy winter land of Ontario. The Mounties are shocked at the absolute ravaging of the victims and are at a loss as to how another human being could do such atrocities. They start to investigate the scene to try to figure out who might have done such killings. Then Tommy Bear Shadow, ancient medicine man of the Cree appears on the scene and tells them who, or rather what, killed these people. Not only that, but that the monster would now be hunting them as well.

Unless they followed the old man's instructions. But how do rational law enforcement officers follow the ramblings of an old man who is speaking to them of a bogeyman they heard about as children?

Follow the hapless group as they learn that all fairy tales aren't imagined, and that they must confront the most horrific creature they could have ever imagined, even in their worst nightmares.

Man! Listen to that wind howl! Mark Sanderson exclaimed. The motor home rocked from the impact of the gust. The five people grabbed seats, tables, whatever was in reach. The wind buffeted the RV, snow assaulting the vehicle like millions of troops storming a metal beach. The storm had been raging for the past three hours, and the Kansas family had been huddled in their camper, praying for it to end. The windows on one end of the RV were obscured by snow that had piled up enough to cover them. The other side showed barren trees whose branches were heavily laden with snow. The snow blanketed the ground, small drifts climbing up the trunks of the ancient trees.

Helen Sanderson looked at the terrified faces of her three children. Sam, the eldest, tried to put on an air of bravery, but his mother knew he was scared. Her face softened a little. Her son was fourteen, and a fine young man, but his fear was still on his face ever so slightly. Mark looked at his wife and smiled to himself. He knew what she was thinking, and had thought the same himself. The girls, Brandy and Shannon, were clinging to their mom. The twins were only five and were doing what five year olds do. He smiled at his family.

This storm won’t last forever, guys, he said trying to ease the tension. Hey! It’s not like a tornado or something. The family relaxed a little. Living in Kansas, they
