      Chapter 1: What Does Indoor Farming Involve?

      Indoor farmers can be done in a number of different forms from basements to warehouses, from towers of greens to flood trays and from vining tomatoes to micro greens. Previously, horizontal techniques were mainly used in indoor farming but things have changed a great deal thanks to technology. A lot of changes have been witnessed in the indoor farming industry in recent years prompting people to see the indoor space as a volume and not an area.

      What does indoor growing have to offer?

      One of the most obvious advantages of indoor farming is better control of the environment. This reduces the losses that would have otherwise been incurred due to environmental factors like weather and pest infestations.
