About this ebook

During the first phases of The Elimination Diet, a long list of foods were removed from your eating plan in order to cleanse and balance the systems of the body. During this final phase, most of those foods will be returned to the diet in order to determine which, if any, of them cause inflammation and reactions for you. This book provides recipes to make it easy to re-incorporate such foods.

We’ve listed the recipes by a particular group of removed foods, such as glutens or dairy products in the order that you should reintroduce them. The Table of Contents lists the recipes for each food group to make it easier for your selection. This form of organizing the recipes simplifies following the diet guidelines when foods are being added back to your diet. Too, the recipes we’ve selected are easy to prepare and use ingredients readily available at your supermarket.

Take it slow and follow our guideline of “One for Three”(One food item for three days) as you bring these foods back into your eating plan.

    Introduction

Once the first phases of the Elimination Diet are completed over the twenty-eight day period, it is time to bring the avoided foods back in order to permanently eliminate any that caused digestive or inflammation problems - neither problem of which is from food allergies - that’s a different animal. Typically, the re-introduction, of Final Phase, of The Elimination Diet should be spread over a six-week period of time.

Reintroducing foods has to be done in an organized manner, slowly over a three day period for each food item. Three days is the usual amount of time
