    INTRODUCTION

    Losing weight is hard work, can be frustrating and one can even become depressed at some point and yet it is still a highly sought after Google keyword.

    That's why you see loads of books and articles dedicated to losing weight. Even more so, if you desire to lose weight fast to fit into a new dress or shirt for a certain party.

    When I was on the search too, I stumbled on so many ways to lose weight: 3 tips to lose weight fast, 25 trusted healthy ways to lose weight, 5 keys to weight loss. There were just too many articles all over the web. Following these conventional tips, I had then developed my own weight loss/fitness plan:

    •  Counting calories like it's a food math competition.

    •  Going on a diet. I.e. starving myself occasionally.

    •  Switching my calorie heavy carb diet for apples and salad.

    •  Rewarding myself with the usual stuff when I've made an achievement.

    •  Running for at least 30 mins daily and lifting weight 3 times a week, power work outs to burn as much fat as possible.

    I followed these plans judiciously for a good while and even saw signs of some weight loss until I changed jobs and started going back on my resolution. Plus, I encountered some problems which contributed to the total abandonment of my initial plans and then I started gaining weight once again.

    One major problem I encountered was I couldn't completely let go of my sweet tooth. I held on tightly to those chocolate filled cakes and butterscotch short
