About this ebook

Many are in this world without a definite understanding of the reason for their existence. It is not in the number of houses we build, cars we have and the money in our Bank account, among others, that determine our success in life but discovering the purpose for which God sent us into the world and fully giving expression to it.

It is not going to be how long we live on earth but how well we live to fulfill our life assignment while we have this breath. With the burden on my heart to see men discover their purpose and maximize the resources given to them for the fulfilment of this assignment is the reason for which this book has been written.

Specifically, this book addresses:
1. What it means to live purposefully;
2. How to discover your life assignment;
3. Practical steps to fulfilling the assignment; and
4. Issues relating to understanding divine timing, location, and much more.

You can't afford to leave this world without emptying yourself into it and finishing your assignment.

    INTRODUCTION

    Every man is born into this world with a specific assignment from their Creator. No one is a product of biological accident, irrespective of the circumstances that surrounded their birth.

    In God’s conversation with Jeremiah, the Bible records in chapter One verses Four to Five that:

    4 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

    5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

    Your assignment was not determined after you were born, it was determined before you were formed even in your mother’s womb and consequently, this determined all about your make up.

    As no farmer ever goes to plant without first determining what seed to plant, you are like a farmer with a seed to plant and until you discover the seed (your assignment), you cannot have a successful planting which eventually determines your fulfilment in life.

    Although, many live just as life dictates to them but that is not God’s plan for them. You were wired to be directed by your life assignment and it is on this that this book is written to walk you through the process of discovering your seed (assignment), and fulfilling it before you leave this earth.

    Not just that, you will be guided on steps you need to take to fully give expression to your assignment so that, not only do you make an impact in the sand of time, but you are also able to bring glory to your Father in heaven. And the good news is, you are not too old to fulfill your assignment, now is the best time to begin to actualize it.

    Therefore, come with me as we explore by the help of the Holy Spirit, the timeless principles to discovering and giving expression to your purpose for living. You are next in line to be celebrated in your generation.

    Chapter One

    YOU AND YOUR SEED

    Everything in this world is related to about seeding. The food we eat all came out of a seed or the other. You exist in this world as a result of the seed your father planted in your mother in the form of spermatozoa.

    The thoughts in our hearts and the words of our mouths are all seeds. When it is in the mind, it is called an idea, but once spoken out, it becomes a seed sown, which germinates over time.

    Success is a seed as failure is also a seed. As no fruits can be harvested without first planting a seed, everyone who plants the seed of success or failure can almost determine what harvest to come afterwards.

    No man is a product of circumstance(s). Everybody contributes to determine the result he gets out of life by the kind of seed he sows. A man becomes rich by understanding and sowing the seed of prosperity, and he becomes or remains poor by sowing the seed of poverty. There is virtually nothing you do or accomplish in life without first sowing the seed.

    The decisions we make in life–consciously or unconsciously, positive or negative–are seeds sown at that time which we live to reap, whether we like it or not, later in life. And the irony of life is that, sometime, we are not the (only) ones who reap them but generation(s) after us partake of the proceeds. Therefore the result we get is always a function of the seed we have sown, just as any harvest is determined by the kind of seed that was planted.

    Life is give-and-take. You first give before you get. This is reflected in Jesus’ words to the multitude when he said in Luke 6:38 that "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." You cannot withhold what you have and expect that some ‘miracle’ will happen or that by chance, something good will be handed over to you.

    The same applies to your seed. You first plant the seed, then you expect the harvest. And harvest, on the other hand, cannot be manipulated; whatever a farmer plants, that is
