Introduction & About Me
My name is Claude Acero and I would like to extend a warm greeting to you all.
So why Panama? Why would anyone want to become an expat in Panama? Isn't it the most expensive country on all of Central America? Yes it is and it is a thousand things more that you need to be aware of when living here long-term.
The content of this guide is to focus on relocation and key aspects of international living in, because I am not focusing on the glamorous and fun life or on where it's best to party; but to give all the important facts for retirees and those people who still want to do something in a foreign country. In short, I am giving a glimpse behind the curtain.
The idea of this information is to make a new untraditional
lifestyle in one of the most diverse countries in Central America more self-supporting. Also, I would like help those who are considering doing business in a new homeland with their decision about their future center of life.
After spending almost three years in Panama City and one in the David area, I am now more sort of a modern drifter peddling between Panama, Nicaragua, and Miami. So in my own mind, I am probably qualified enough to have an opinion or two about this magnificent country of many colors.
This book is meant to help you, so that you do find your way here instead of believing all of the hype and news articles that are flying around the
