    Preface

This book is a recap of my blog posts and podcast shows as I reviewed our political process over the last nearly two years. I do not have a political bone in my body, but the campaign trail made for some very entertaining innuendos and gave me food for thought. Here I will share the articles and topics discussed as well as give insights as to what I thought when I wrote or recorded this content.

    Hillary Is In the Race

Hillary Clinton for President in 2016 has a nice ring to it. I was hoping that she entered the race because I believe we do not have another Democratic candidate who can handle the journey to the Presidency. It will be nice to have girl power in the oval office. She is the most qualified for the job. She knows what it takes to run the country. She understands that it will take much negotiation and diplomacy to get the United States back on track. I believe she did not understand all that was necessary when she was secretary of state, but she handled it with grace and ingenuity. We have not had a government surplus since the last time there was a Clinton in office. It would be nice to have wages go up, and unemployment goes down again. The field of Republicans vying for the opportunity to win the nomination do not compare when you look at their resumes next to Hillary Clinton.

I like that Hillary was pragmatic in the way she handled the United States international affairs. Yes, there are still questions about Benghazi but the role that she held was multi-faceted, and we all know one cannot know everything about every issue that arises. The outcome of not knowing was very unfortunate, and I said a prayer for the families both hers and the ambassador. I appreciate that she does not bend to what public opinion thinks she should do or say. She makes me believe that she is just a woman, mother, wife, business woman, and grandmother like anyone else in America trying to have a family life, career and be a good citizen.

The campaign trail has started, and she is handling it differently from the last time. Her announcement was very subdued, and her travel is very ordinary. I believe this is the right approach since she has been down this road before and fanfare put her in debt the last time. This is the result of learning from her experience, and that is why I believe she has a
