King David and Bath Sheba
()
About this ebook
While the biblical story of king David and Bath-Sheba and his overwhelming treachery committed in the name of pure greed and lust are not totally unheard of in the world of religion it's one that adherents of Christian ideology definitely do not go out of their way to make known simply due its overly embarrassing and treacherous overtones.
Despite King David's Machiavellian ventures he ironically still remains one of the most unquestionably popular and revered bibli¬cal characters third only to god and his supposed son Jesus, how anyone could do the things David blatantly did while remaining so highly coveted and central to Christianity remains a total mystery to me.
Presented in this book are all of the sordid details concerning king David's forays into the world of adultery, deceit, kidnapping, the killing of his own son and the murder of an innocent and unquestionably loyal soldier for the sole purpose of appropr¬iating his wife and all of the creature comforts concomitant with a female companion.
Also discussed is god's grisly act of infanticide, the almighty obviously having forgotten about one of his own supposedly sacred laws ("Thou shalt not kill." Exodus 20:13) and finding it far more convenient to simply murder the child as a form of punishme¬nt rather than directly punish the individual solely responsible for all of this drama in the first place. This would obviously make too much sense as such lowly logic is far too rudimentary for god's paramount intellect.
Ecumenically, this book presents the entire story of king David and Bath-Sheba in a manner you will most likely never hear during the church sermon or study group, the author having chosen to take off the proverbial gloves when revealing the true nature of events that took place (according to the bible, that is) as this story has been told in a sanitary manner for far too long.

About the Author
DEDICATION
To Dr. Joseph Ben A. A. Jochanan, a true pioneer of African studies who boldly spoke out against Imperialist-Colonialists the world over; Christopher Hitchens, an inspirational light and ever present thorn in the Christian backside; and to my mother for giving me the greatest gift one human can bestow to another—the gift of life.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
First, I would again like to thank my parents for helping in bringing this project to life as without their assistance it would have been nearly impossible for me to have published this book as such. Additionally, I would also like to extend a special thanks to Jane Eichwald for the original retyping and formatting of this book, her skill, speed and professionalism certainly having been a huge factor in the making of this book.
Last but certainly not least I would like to give a nod to myself for enduring the physically and mentally draining process of writing over 20 books and for having the courage to not back away from these projects simply because they do not sit well with the current religious status quo, a wise man having once said: Freedom is never free.
Truer words have never been spoken.
INTRODUCTION
For those of you who don’t know, the bible is replete with many stories of absolute misery, death and relentless carnage. It’s inconceivable of how anyone with any degree of common sense can ever associate this kind of malfeasance with any god
dedicated to such things as love, inspiration, mercy, unity and divinity is far beyond me. And as the title of this book suggests, the story of King David and Bath-Sheba just happens to be one not the least bit short of adultery, incest, treachery, murder, rape and wholesale destruction.
And while their story is more widely known than many others They
don’t want you to know it is certainly one that Christians make no effort to address unless absolutely necessary as the details that lie within it have a tendency to bring about too many uncomfortable i.e., unanswerable questions without seeming like a fool or maniac.
If one takes the bible and the word of God
as literal truth and as a religious and moral compass they will live by it’s safe to say that God Almighty and King David set extremely poor examples for others to follow: King David and God both mercilessly holding others to standards they could never maintain in their wildest dreams while violating virtually every biblical law and moral code the bible has.
If one has the courage to remove their religious blinders they will quickly see that God and many other characters in the bible are no different at all than some of history’s worst and evil men so reviled by the world at large today. Chenghis Khan, Timur, Stalin, Hitler, Mao Zedong, Cecil Rhodes, King Leopold II, Pol Pot, Alexander the Great and so many countless others. The only difference being that God and company have managed to escape the usual recalcitrant and hateful public image the others have so deservingly earned.
To the average Christian the idea of Hitler massacring 6 million Jewish people and providing the catalyst for plunging the entire world into a war is beyond reprehensible but will not only readily accept but endlessly and viciously justify God killing nearly every human on Earth save a very select few.
If that’s not the very definition of insanity I don’t know what is.
King David, while arguably being the most revered character in the bible next to the imitable Jesus Christ himself to the Christian ranks is also arguably one of the most despicable persons in the entire bible as well given that his actions and demeanor completely belie that of one of God’s most holy men considering his supposed divine lineage.
This story, like many others in the bible is largely unknown to the world’s average Christian due to the knowledge of most Christians being predicated on hearsay as opposed to genuine study as it’s far easier to just mimic what they hear someone else say than to research the material for themself. The times this story is told though it is usually obfuscated in such a way that the story is told in a manner far from how it is actually described in the bible.
The times this story is told on Sunday morning the speaker will have done so in such a masterful way that they are actually able to convince their flock that all of the outright murder, misery and betrayal was somehow not only justifiable but sorely misconstrued to make it seem as if the
