    Understanding Your Product

    ––––––––

The fundamental truth about catering is that the product is, for those who hire you, a memory. Your task is to deliver a hassle free, great meal, well served.  One of the biggest mistakes that new caterers make is to try to use low prices, or the perception of discounted value to attract customers.  Your customers don’t want the cheap option, and what’s more they will be less likely to hire someone offering it.

    ––––––––

People who hire professionals for this service are looking for a memorable experience. Starting With a Plan

    ––––––––

Many Caterers start their businesses from home with a dream to one day open and operate a restaurant, or even franchise a brand.

The business is a difficult one, and you should start with an idea of where you want to finish.

If you simply want to augment income, and have a talent for cooking, with no desire for anything more than a small and convenient home based business, your journey is easy.

If your goal is to grow to a food truck and/or a restaurant, you need to think about your brand.

Many caterers in the beginning will take whatever jobs they can get, cooking whatever they know how to make, and that is fine, but if your goal is a brand, you will want
