      A furious Angel swoops down like an eagle,

      Grabs a fistful of the infidel’s hair,

      And shaking him, says, "You shall obey, do you hear?

      The poor, the spiteful, the deformed, the dumb;

      Then the Angel, cruel as kind,

      With giant hands twisted him till he whined;

      In the beginning, God set three rules for Angels:

      1. Love humans above ourselves

      2. We will not become attached

      3. Love God above everyone else

      I broke all those rules. Humans are taught that the devil is a fallen Angel who terrorizes man’s world with pain and suffering. In Hollywood, I am an ugly monster with horns who tempts people into making lousy decisions. I am in fact a fallen Angel, and story goes I was the most intelligent Angel in Heaven.

      But I was also a woman in love.

      Forget what you’ve read in the bible. It’s a book of fear written by humans to rule over other humans. This story comes from yours truly, Lucifer. But you can call me Lucy.

      God created eight Angels and assigned us different regions on Earth to protect and entertain men, all while singing praises of the Lord to our assigned humans. My designated region was the Mediterranean and
