      For all of the talk of one Jay Hammer’s bouts of racism, the cold fact remained that the man couldn’t take a half-step without the aid of the extraordinarily talented, not to mention very black, Miles Charleston. The pair sat across from each other at a table in Jay’s dining room, which was only used to tend to business as Jay wasn’t exactly a Sunday dinner type of man.
