      Introduction

      From the beginning of time, men and women have wrestled gift-giving solutions and conventional wisdom would dictate that in our technological age, finding gifts would be an easy thing.  In all actuality, it is easy.  The problem is that most of the gift ideas common in this day and age are mundane and painfully ordinary.  They are more like a head nod in relationship terms, a mere acceptance of the time arising to appreciate someone.  But creating something with your own hands, that’s a different story altogether.

      Over the next few chapters, you’re going to find wonderfully creative ideas that hit the mark and show your gift recipient that you care enough to do something different, something unique.  Let’s roll up our sleeves, break out the Mason jars and get started, shall we?

      Chapter 1 – Decorative Gifts

      Whether in a Park Avenue loft or a rural farm, home made gifts are always in style.  While the initial reaction to mason jar gifts is that of a farm house, filled with pastel blues and browns with the occasional splash of eggshell white, the stereotype in some instances exists, but it’s certainly not the new trend.  Bright, vibrant colors or even dark gothic colors are all the rage.
