      Our world today is filled with tremendous advances in every area, particularly medicine. I know this practice is not used much today – however, years ago when a mother gave birth to a newborn baby, the doctor would slap the baby on the bottom. The purpose of the slap was to stimulate the newborn’s lungs and other organs, prompting the child to take its first breath. So, it would be fair to say that many people entered the Earth and life with slight pain;but more importantly,this pain was only given to prompt a response. Pain is only an indicator that something is misaligned or needs attention.
