      He checked his watch. Why did he bother? It had stopped ticking ages ago and stood still at half past three. Forever. Besides, he could not see his watch as it was stuck in his suit; the big, clumsy suit he had to wear.

      His breath was regulated. Steadily going in and out with a slurping sound; the noise was slowly getting to his nerves. Stupid old suit, he thought. Tacky but a necessity to survive. After all these years they had not changed the design. Or the technics. And those boots; those damned boots…
