Daily Reflections
by Masami Saionji
Sanctified words and deeds, filled with profound love, can only bring about sanctified, love-filled results.
dr_designWorries take our hearts by storm, stealing away our freedom.
dr_designWe may study the truths of sages and saints, but until we actually re-enliven our divine nature, we will never know the eternal happiness and bliss that burst forth from the soul.
dr_designA good trick for breaking free from our daily fears and anxieties is to keep our bodies constantly busy so that our limited intellect won’t have time to wander about, thinking about this and that. When we do this, our genuine, innate intuition will spring to life.
dr_designWe may chase after material things to fulfill our inner needs, but there will be no true reward in this.
dr_designNo one can have their selfish desires granted by praying to God. Instead, we receive the just returns of our everyday thoughts.
dr_designHistory teaches us that materialism, worldly prestige and extravagance do not last for long and inevitably fall into decay. Our innate divine nature is the only thing that never decays, but continues to shine throughout eternity.

At the same time, the water in the bucket gets proportionally dirtier. Also, when I shake the cloth under the water, even more dirt comes off and goes into the water. There is nothing unusual about this, but as
