About this ebook

n Indian Creek, no one is quite what he or she seems. Some are likeable enough that you'd enjoy sitting down with them at Cam's Hideaway Bar and tossing back a beer. Others are as irritating as a flat tire, like the posturing Frank Perkins, who'd twist the truth if it made him look like a big man. The victim's daughter, a beautiful young woman, searches for the truth about her mother's death

Kelly and his dog are employed as security for a permanent fleamarket. When a stallholder is killed he must find out what is happening. This is one of those books which is filled with "colourful" characters. This especially applies to Anna, the deceased, who has secrets hidden in her past. All the people seem to be inadequate in some way and I really didn't take to any of them. Everyone has lied or hidden something at least once and Kelly has to find out who is telling the truth and what really happened. Despite being an ex-police officer he doesn't seem to be very good at it as I had worked out who the villain was ages before he became suspicious.I didn't care about the victim as I didn't engage with her at all. I didn't really take to Kelly at all as he was a bit of an enigma. I didn't like the other characters as they seemed to be a bunch of losers who lied about everything.Overall - not really a good story.
