      About The King James Bible

      The King James Bible is often referred to as the King James Version (KJV). There are slightly different versions of the King James Bible and in this e-book we use the King James Pure Cambridge Version which we call KJB for short. The following information is an excerpt from Wikipedia:

      King James Version - General History: The King James Version (KJV), also known as the Authorized Version (AV) or King James Bible (KJB), is an English translation of the Christian Bible for the Church of England begun in 1604 and completed in 1611. In 1612, the first King James Version using Roman Type was issued. This quarto version is only second to the 1611 folio KJV. First printed by the King's Printer Robert Barker, this was the third translation into English to be approved by the English Church authorities. The first was the Great Bible commissioned in the reign of King Henry VIII (1535), and the second was the Bishops' Bible of 1568. In January 1604, James I convened the Hampton Court Conference where a new English version was conceived in response to the perceived problems of the earlier translations as detected by the Puritans, a faction within the Church of England.

      James gave the translators instructions intended to guarantee that the new version would conform to the ecclesiology and reflect the episcopal structure of the Church of England and its belief in an ordained clergy. The translation was done by 47 scholars, all of whom were members of the Church of England. In common with most other translations of the period, the New Testament was translated from Greek, the Old Testament was translated from Hebrew and Aramaic text, while the Apocrypha was translated from the Greek and Latin. In the Book of Common Prayer (1662), the text of the Authorized Version replaced the text of the Great Bible – for Epistle and Gospel readings (but not for the Psalter which has retained substantially Coverdale's Great Bible version) and as such was authorized by Act of Parliament. By the first half of the 18th century, the Authorized Version had become effectively unchallenged as the English translation used in Anglican and Protestant churches, other than for the Psalms and some short passages in the Book of Common Prayer of the Church of England. Over the course of the 18th century, the Authorized Version supplanted the Latin Vulgate as the standard version of scripture for English-speaking scholars. With the development of stereotype printing at the beginning of the 19th century, this version of the Bible became the most widely printed book in history, almost all such printings presenting the standard text of 1769 extensively re-edited by Benjamin Blayney at Oxford; and nearly always omitting the books of the Apocrypha. Today the unqualified title 'King James Bible' commonly identifies this Oxford standard text.

      Tamil Bible 1868

      The first project of the Bible Society in Tamil was given to C.T. Rhenius (born 1790), a German, who had come to work under the Church Missionary Society in Tinnevelly. He brought out the New Testament in 1833. In 1840 the Bible Society published its first edition of the whole Bible in Tamil: the Old Testament consisting of the translation of Fabricius and the New Testament that of Rehnius. The Jaffna translation called the Tentative Version was brought out in 1850. Since the Jaffna version had failed to gain general acceptance another version was called for; and after prolonged negotiations, a revision committee representative of several missions working in South India, with Dr. H. Bower as chief translator, was appointed in 1857. The New Testament was published in 1863 and the Old Testament in 1868; but the renderings of the Bower Committee aroused grave dissatisfaction in north Ceylon and a conference of delegates from both sides was called. A mutually accepted version of the whole Bible called the Union Version, because of the representative character of those who had produced it, was published in 1871. In efect it displaced all previous versions and won its way into the affection of all Churches in India and Ceylon. The Lutheran continued to use the Fabricius version.

      Our Bible Introduction

      Gods word is surely the most wonderful and astounding text given mankind throughout all time. Only a thourough study of it can unlock its secrets. We believe it is critical, not just in this time and age, to understand Gods nature. At present everything seems to be upside down, where good is bad and bad is good. Our direction and compass is knowing God wrote His word to stand the test of time since He clearly wrote it prophetically, seeing the end from the beginning. How do we know? We know because He has confirmed many of the events that are happening in the world and have happened even within our own small lifespan. God has spoken of and prophecied about world wide events in The Bible and these prophecies are unique. You will not find anything like The Bible on planet Earth with such mindblowing accuracy and precision. But on a smaller level, each man and woman needs to make up their mind and walk out that which God tells them. That is when we have the signs and wonders following, by acting upon and putting our trust in The word of God, The Bible. It is indeed written that Jesus Christ is the author of our faith and what more can we ask for. I have personally seen people healed from incurable sicknesses such as HIV. Through the authority Jesus gave us I have cast out Demons, seen metal disappear from a body and be replaced with normal bones. I have set people free from the smallest sickness to terminal sickness and I can testify of the immense joy that follows a battle fought and won! There are many witnesses of the signs and wonders that will happen to anyone who choose to believe God and dares to walk the talk. Surely, The Body of Christ is active and alive and God is good to His children! But we need to heed His word and seek the knowledge He has for us. Not just through the word, but through closeness with God and active fellowship with our brothers and sisters. The Holy Spirit will always confirm The Truth that Jesus Christ of Nazareth wants to share with us.

      But do not just take this for granted. Gods word can surely be dug into, tested, verified and found worthy. But for you to incorporate it into your life and see the reality of it, requires faith. Living faith, not dead faith. A heartbeat at a time, day by day, feeding upon The Word of God and enjoying the fruit of The Spirit. When we ask God, pursuit the truth He has set before us, He will surely answer in time. Do not think it will lead you to nowhere, cause it will not. This is not just some senseless gong ho as unbelievers will have it, sprinkled with nice stories of miracles and what not. Far from it. We have seen this time and time again. The truth is singular and our creator is true and The One and only I AM. There are no multiple Gods here, that is a lie from the devil. Neither is God a floating self-aware entity made up by every living being. Earth, or Gaia as many calls it is a fiction and a fairytale. How we have stumbled, fallen and seen death all around us, but never did it enlighten us until Jesus Christ of Nazareth came and showed us the truth and nothing but the truth. He is surely the way, the truth and the life. Unless a person walks it out according to Gods knowledge, that person will continue sleepwalking until the very end. Such an end would be sad to say the least. Wake up now and taste the goodness of God and draw close to Him and He will draw close to you! And if you have already woken up, but are walking around feeling sleepy: *fight* in order to not fall asleep again, seek Father with all your heart, mind and soul and be vigilant in doing so! Even so, I must admit I have no clue as to how God has managed to put together The Bible in the way He has. To my own intellect I looked at The Bible as flawed, beyond repair and full of tairytales. But that was before I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and experienced the power of God through an evangelist who took The Bible literal. The signs and wonders have not stopped since. Not because of me, but because God never changes and He has clearly showed that He wants everyone saved! Hands down, this is the best news I have ever heard and experienced! Love your God with all your heart, with all your might and everthing you are and you will surely conquer whatever comes against you, no matter the size or seeming severity. God seeks your heart, your attention and your affection. Through Him you will overcome the desires and the lusts of this world and live a life of abundance into eternity.

      Please forgive me for being so blunt and straight forward. I sincerely wish for you all to be and walk in the blessing God has for you. Some of you are even walking in what feels like a desert, but remember that God will chastise those He loves. Not because He hates us, on the contrary. He is our Father if we let Him, and He will always see to it that as long as we listen to Him we will carry more fruit. And sometimes a time in the desert is needed. Even so, please fear not, because God is surely on your side when you seek Him with all your heart. Surely nothing is impossible with our Father in heaven. If He has spoken it will come to pass! All Glory to God!!

      tam பின்பு தேவன்: நீந்தும் ஜீவஜந்துக்களையும், பூமியின்மேல் வானம் என்கிற ஆகாயவிரிவிலே பறக்கும் பறவைகளையும், ஜலமானது திரளாய் ஜநிப்பிக்கக்கடவது என்றார்.

      Genesis 1 :21

      kjb And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good.

      tam தேவன், மகா மச்சங்களையும், ஜலத்தில் தங்கள் தங்கள் ஜாதியின்படியே திரளாய் ஜநிப்பிக்கப்பட்ட சகலவித நீர் வாழும் ஜந்துக்களையும், சிறகுள்ள ஜாதிஜாதியான சகலவிதப் பட்சிகளையும் சிருஷ்டித்தார்; தேவன் அது நல்லது என்று கண்டார்.

      Genesis 1 :22

      kjb And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

      tam தேவன் அவைகளை ஆசீர்வதித்து, நீங்கள் பலுகிப் பெருகி, சமுத்திர ஜலத்தை நிரப்புங்கள் என்றும், பறவைகள் பூமியில் பெருகக்கடவது என்றும் சொன்னார்.

      kjb And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

      kjb And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

      tam பின்பு தேவன்: பூமியானது ஜாதிஜாதியான ஜீவஜந்துக்களாகிய நாட்டு மிருகங்களையும், ஊரும் பிராணிகளையும், காட்டுமிருகங்களையும், ஜாதிஜாதியாகப் பிறப்பிக்கக்கடவது என்றார்; அது அப்படியே ஆயிற்று.

      Genesis 1 :25

      kjb And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good.

      tam தேவன் பூமியிலுள்ள ஜாதிஜாதியான காட்டுமிருகங்களையும், ஜாதிஜாதியான நாட்டுமிருகங்களையும், பூமியில் ஊரும் பிராணிகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் உண்டாக்கினார்; தேவன் அது நல்லது என்று கண்டார்.

      Genesis 1 :26

      kjb And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

      tam பின்பு தேவன்: நமது சாயலாகவும் நமது ரூபத்தின்படியேயும் மனுஷனை உண்டாக்குவோமாக; அவர்கள் சமுத்திரத்தின் மச்சங்களையும், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளையும், மிருகஜீவன்களையும், பூமியனைத்தையும், பூமியின்மேல் ஊரும் சகலப் பிராணிகளையும் ஆளக்கடவர்கள் என்றார்.

      kjb So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

      tam தேவன் தம்முடைய சாயலாக மனுஷனைச் சிருஷ்டித்தார், அவனைத் தேவசாயலாகவே சிருஷ்டித்தார்; ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக அவர்களைச் சிருஷ்டித்தார்.

      kjb And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

      tam பின்பு தேவன் அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் பலுகிப் பெருகி, பூமியை நிரப்பி, அதைக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தி, சமுத்திரத்தின் மச்சங்களையும் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளையும், பூமியின்மேல் நடமாடுகிற சகல ஜீவஜந்துக்களையும் ஆண்டுகொள்ளுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, தேவன் அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்.

      kjb And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

      tam பின்னும் தேவன்: இதோ, பூமியின்மேல் எங்கும் விதைதரும் சகலவிதப் பூண்டுகளையும், விதைதரும் கனிமரங்களாகிய சகலவித விருட்சங்களையும் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தேன், அவைகள் உங்களுக்கு ஆகாரமாயிருக்கக்கடவது;

      kjb And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life, [I have given] every green herb for meat: and it was so.

      kjb Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

      tam இவ்விதமாக வானமும் பூமியும், அவைகளின் சர்வசேனையும் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டுத் தீர்ந்தன.

      Genesis 2 :2

      kjb And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

      tam தேவன் தாம் செய்த தம்முடைய கிரியையை ஏழாம் நாளிலே நிறைவேற்றி, தாம் உண்டாக்கின தம்முடைய கிரியைகளையெல்லாம் முடித்தபின்பு, ஏழாம் நாளிலே ஓய்ந்திருந்தார்.

      kjb And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

      kjb These [are] the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் பூமியையும் வானத்தையும் உண்டாக்கின நாளிலே, வானமும் பூமியும் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட வரலாறு இவைகளே.

      Genesis 2 :5

      kjb And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and [there was] not a man to till the ground.

      tam நிலத்தினுடைய சகலவிதச் செடிகளும் பூமியின்மேல் இன்னும் உண்டாகவில்லை, நிலத்தினுடைய சகலவிதப் பூண்டுகளும் இன்னும் முளைக்கவில்லை; ஏனெனில் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் பூமியின்மேல் இன்னும் மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணவில்லை; நிலத்தைப் பண்படுத்த மனுஷனும் இருந்ததில்லை.

      Genesis 2 :6

      kjb But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

      tam அப்பொழுது மூடுபனி பூமியிலிருந்து எழும்பி, பூமியையெல்லாம் நனைத்தது.

      kjb And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷனைப் பூமியின் மண்ணினாலே உருவாக்கி, ஜீவசுவாசத்தை அவன் நாசியிலே ஊதினார், மனுஷன் ஜீவாத்துமாவானான்.

      Genesis 2 :8

      kjb And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் கிழக்கே ஏதேன் என்னும் ஒரு தோட்டத்தை உண்டாக்கி, தாம் உருவாக்கின மனுஷனை அதிலே வைத்தார்.

      Genesis 2 :9

      kjb And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர், பார்வைக்கு அழகும் புசிப்புக்கு நலமுமான சகலவித விருட்சங்களையும், தோட்டத்தின் நடுவிலே ஜீவவிருட்சத்தையும், நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தையும் பூமியிலிருந்து முளைக்கப்பண்ணினார்.

      kjb And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

      tam தோட்டத்துக்குத் தண்ணீர் பாயும்படி ஏதேனிலிருந்து ஒரு நதி ஓடி, அங்கேயிருந்து பிரிந்து நாலு பெரிய ஆறுகளாயிற்று.

      Genesis 2 :11

      kjb The name of the first [is] Pison: that [is] it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where [there is] gold;

      tam முதலாம் ஆற்றுக்குப் பைசோன் என்று பேர், அது ஆவிலா தேசம் முழுவதையும் சுற்றி ஓடும்; அவ்விடத்திலே பொன் விளையும்.

      Genesis 2 :12

      kjb And the gold of that land [is] good: there [is] bdellium and the onyx stone.

      tam அந்தத் தேசத்தின் பொன் நல்லது; அவ்விடத்திலே பிதோலாகும், கோமேதகக்கல்லும் உண்டு.

      Genesis 2 :13

      kjb And the name of the second river [is] Gihon: the same [is] it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.

      tam இரண்டாம் ஆற்றுக்குக் கீகோன் என்று பேர், அது எத்தியோப்பியா தேசம் முழுவதையும் சுற்றி ஓடும்.

      kjb And the name of the third river [is] Hiddekel: that [is] it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river [is] Euphrates.

      tam மூன்றாம் ஆற்றுக்கு இதெக்கேல் என்று பேர், அது அசீரியாவுக்குக் கிழக்கே ஓடும்; நாலாம் ஆற்றுக்கு ஐபிராத்து என்று பேர்.

      Genesis 2 :15

      kjb And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷனை ஏதேன் தோட்டத்தில் அழைத்துக் கொண்டுவந்து, அதைப் பண்படுத்தவும் காக்கவும் வைத்தார்.

      Genesis 2 :16

      kjb And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மனுஷனை நோக்கி: நீ தோட்டத்திலுள்ள சகல விருட்சத்தின் கனியையும் புசிக்கவே புசிக்கலாம்.

      Genesis 2 :17

      kjb But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

      tam ஆனாலும் நன்மை தீமை அறியத்தக்க விருட்சத்தின் கனியைப் புசிக்கவேண்டாம்; அதை நீ புசிக்கும் நாளில் சாகவே சாவாய் என்று கட்டளையிட்டார்.

      Genesis 2 :18

      kjb And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

      tam பின்பு, தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்: மனுஷன் தனிமையாயிருப்பது நல்லதல்ல, ஏற்ற துணையை அவனுக்கு உண்டாக்குவேன் என்றார்.

      kjb And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof.

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் வெளியின் சகலவித மிருகங்களையும், ஆகாயத்தின் சகலவிதப் பறவைகளையும் மண்ணினாலே உருவாக்கி, ஆதாம் அவைகளுக்கு என்ன பேரிடுவான் என்று பார்க்கும்படி அவைகளை அவனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்; அந்தந்த ஜீவஜந்துக்கு ஆதாம் எந்தெந்தப் பேரிட்டானோ அதுவே அதற்குப் பேராயிற்று.

      Genesis 2 :20

      kjb And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

      tam அப்படியே ஆதாம் சகலவித நாட்டு மிருகங்களுக்கும், ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளுக்கும், சகலவிதக் காட்டுமிருகங்களுக்கும் பேரிட்டான்; ஆதாமுக்கோ ஏற்ற துணை இன்னும் காணப்படவில்லை.

      Genesis 2 :21

      kjb And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

      tam அப்பொழுது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஆதாமுக்கு அயர்ந்த நித்திரையை வரப்பண்ணினார், அவன் நித்திரையடைந்தான்; அவர் அவன் விலா எலும்புகளில் ஒன்றை எடுத்து, அந்த இடத்தைச் சதையினால் அடைத்தார்.

      Genesis 2 :22

      kjb And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தாம் மனுஷனில் எடுத்த விலா எலும்பை மனுஷியாக உருவாக்கி, அவளை மனுஷனிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்.

      Genesis 2 :23

      kjb And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

      tam அப்பொழுது ஆதாம்: இவள் என் எலும்பில் எலும்பும், என் மாம்சத்தில் மாம்சமுமாய் இருக்கிறாள்; இவள் மனுஷனில் எடுக்கப்பட்டபடியினால் மனுஷி என்னப்படுவாள் என்றான்.

      Genesis 2 :24

      kjb Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

      tam இதினிமித்தம் புருஷன் தன் தகப்பனையும் தன் தாயையும் விட்டு, தன் மனைவியோடே இசைந்திருப்பான்; அவர்கள் ஒரே மாம்சமாயிருப்பார்கள்.

      Genesis 2 :25

      kjb And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

      tam ஆதாமும் அவன் மனைவியுமாகிய இருவரும் நிர்வாணிகளாயிருந்தும், வெட்கப்படாதிருந்தார்கள்.

      Genesis 3 :1

      kjb Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

      tam தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உண்டாக்கின சகல காட்டு ஜீவன்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் சர்ப்பமானது தந்திரமுள்ளதாயிருந்தது. அது ஸ்திரீயை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் தோட்டத்திலுள்ள சகல விருட்சங்களின் கனியையும் புசிக்கவேண்டாம் என்று தேவன் சொன்னது உண்டோ என்றது.

      Genesis 3 :2

      kjb And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

      tam ஸ்திரீ சர்ப்பத்தைப் பார்த்து: நாங்கள் தோட்டத்திலுள்ள விருட்சங்களின் கனிகளைப் புசிக்கலாம்;

      Genesis 3 :3

      kjb But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

      tam ஆனாலும், தோட்டத்தின் நடுவில் இருக்கிற விருட்சத்தின் கனியைக்குறித்து, தேவன்: நீங்கள் சாகாதபடிக்கு அதைப் புசிக்கவும் அதைத் தொடவும் வேண்டாம் என்று சொன்னார் என்றாள்.

      kjb And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

      tam அப்பொழுது சர்ப்பம் ஸ்திரீயை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் சாகவே சாவதில்லை;

      Genesis 3 :5

      kjb For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

      tam நீங்கள் இதைப் புசிக்கும் நாளிலே உங்கள் கண்கள் திறக்கப்படும் என்றும், நீங்கள் நன்மை தீமை அறிந்து தேவர்களைப்போல் இருப்பீர்கள் என்றும் தேவன் அறிவார் என்றது.

      Genesis 3 :6

      kjb And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

      tam அப்பொழுது ஸ்திரீயானவள், அந்த விருட்சம் புசிப்புக்கு நல்லதும், பார்வைக்கு இன்பமும், புத்தியைத் தெளிவிக்கிறதற்கு இச்சிக்கப்படத்தக்க விருட்சமுமாய் இருக்கிறது என்று கண்டு, அதின் கனியைப் பறித்து, புசித்து, தன் புருஷனுக்கும் கொடுத்தாள்; அவனும் புசித்தான்.

      kjb And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

      tam அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் இருவருடைய கண்களும் திறக்கப்பட்டது; அவர்கள் தாங்கள் நிர்வாணிகள் என்று அறிந்து, அத்தியிலைகளைத் தைத்து, தங்களுக்கு அரைக்கச்சைகளை உண்டுபண்ணினார்கள்.

      Genesis 3 :8

      kjb And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

      tam பகலில் குளிர்ச்சியான வேளையிலே தோட்டத்தில் உலாவுகிற தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்தை அவர்கள் கேட்டார்கள். அப்பொழுது ஆதாமும் அவன் மனைவியும் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதிக்கு விலகி, தோட்டத்தின் விருட்சங்களுக்குள்ளே ஒளித்துக்கொண்டார்கள்.

      kjb And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou?

      tam அப்பொழுது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஆதாமைக் கூப்பிட்டு: நீ எங்கே இருக்கிறாய் என்றார்.

      Genesis 3 :10

      kjb And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.

      tam அதற்கு அவன்: நான் தேவரீருடைய சத்தத்தைத் தோட்டத்திலே கேட்டு, நான் நிர்வாணியாயிருப்பதினால் பயந்து, ஒளித்துக்கொண்டேன் என்றான்.

      Genesis 3 :11

      kjb And he said, Who told thee that thou [wast] naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

      tam அப்பொழுது அவர்: நீ நிர்வாணி என்று உனக்கு அறிவித்தவன் யார்? புசிக்கவேண்டாம் என்று நான் உனக்கு விலக்கின விருட்சத்தின் கனியைப் புசித்தாயோ என்றார்.

      Genesis 3 :12

      kjb And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

      tam அதற்கு ஆதாம்: என்னுடனே இருக்கும்படி தேவரீர் தந்த ஸ்திரீயானவள் அவ்விருட்சத்தின் கனியை எனக்குக் கொடுத்தாள், நான் புசித்தேன் என்றான்.

      Genesis 3 :13

      kjb And the LORD God said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.

      tam அப்பொழுது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் ஸ்திரீயை நோக்கி: நீ இப்படிச் செய்தது என்ன என்றார். ஸ்திரீயானவள்: சர்ப்பம் என்னை வஞ்சித்தது, நான் புசித்தேன் என்றாள்.

      Genesis 3 :14

      kjb And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

      tam அப்பொழுது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் சர்ப்பத்தைப் பார்த்து: நீ இதைச் செய்தபடியால் சகல நாட்டு மிருகங்களிலும் சகல காட்டு மிருகங்களிலும் சபிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பாய், நீ உன் வயிற்றினால் நகர்ந்து, உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் மண்ணைத் தின்பாய்;

      Genesis 3 :15

      kjb And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

      tam உனக்கும் ஸ்திரீக்கும், உன் வித்துக்கும் அவள் வித்துக்கும் பகை உண்டாக்குவேன்; அவர் உன் தலையை நசுக்குவார், நீ அவர் குதிங்காலை நசுக்குவாய் என்றார்.

      Genesis 3 :16

      kjb Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

      tam அவர் ஸ்திரீயை நோக்கி: நீ கர்ப்பவதியாயிருக்கும்போது உன் வேதனையை மிகவும் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன்; வேதனையோடே பிள்ளை பெறுவாய்; உன் ஆசை உன் புருஷனைப் பற்றியிருக்கும், அவன் உன்னை ஆண்டுகொள்ளுவான் என்றார்.

      Genesis 3 :17

      kjb And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;

      kjb Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

      kjb Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

      Genesis 4 :1

      kjb And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

      tam ஆதாம் தன் மனைவியாகிய ஏவாளை அறிந்தான்; அவள் கர்ப்பவதியாகி, காயீனைப் பெற்று, கர்த்தரால் ஒரு மனுஷனைப் பெற்றேன் என்றாள்.

      Genesis 4 :2

      kjb And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

      tam பின்பு அவனுடைய சகோதரனாகிய ஆபேலைப் பெற்றாள்; ஆபேல் ஆடுகளை மேய்க்கிறவனானான், காயீன் நிலத்தைப் பயிரிடுகிறவனானான்.

      kjb And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

      tam சிலநாள் சென்றபின்பு, காயீன் நிலத்தின் கனிகளைக் கர்த்தருக்குக் காணிக்கையாகக் கொண்டுவந்தான்.

      kjb And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

      tam ஆபேலும் தன் மந்தையின் தலையீற்றுகளிலும் அவைகளின் கொழுமையானவைகளிலும் சிலவற்றைக் கொண்டுவந்தான். ஆபேலையும் அவன் காணிக்கையையும் கர்த்தர் அங்கிகரித்தார்.

      kjb But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

      tam காயீனையும் அவன் காணிக்கையையும் அவர் அங்கிகரிக்கவில்லை. அப்பொழுது காயீனுக்கு மிகவும் எரிச்சல் உண்டாகி, அவன் முகநாடி வேறுபட்டது.

      kjb And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

      Genesis 4 :7

      kjb If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee [shall be] his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

      tam நீ நன்மைசெய்தால் மேன்மை இல்லையோ? நீ நன்மைசெய்யாதிருந்தால் பாவம் வாசற்படியில் படுத்திருக்கும்; அவன் ஆசை உன்னைப் பற்றியிருக்கும், நீ அவனை ஆண்டுகொள்ளுவாய் என்றார்.

      kjb And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

      kjb And the LORD said unto Cain, Where [is] Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: [Am] I my brother's keeper?

      Genesis 4 :10

      kjb And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

      tam அதற்கு அவர்: என்ன செய்தாய்? உன் சகோதரனுடைய இரத்தத்தின் சத்தம் பூமியிலிருந்து என்னை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறது.

      Genesis 4 :11

      kjb And now [art] thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;

      tam இப்பொழுது உன் சகோதரனுடைய இரத்தத்தை உன் கையிலே வாங்கிக் கொள்ள தன் வாயைத் திறந்த இந்தப் பூமியில் நீ சபிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பாய்.

      kjb When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

      tam நீ நிலத்தைப் பயிரிடும்போது, அது தன் பலனை இனி உனக்குக் கொடாது; நீ பூமியில் நிலையற்று அலைகிறவனாயிருப்பாய் என்றார்.

      Genesis 4 :13

      kjb And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment [is] greater than I can bear.

      tam அப்பொழுது காயீன் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: எனக்கு இட்ட தண்டனை என்னால் சகிக்கமுடியாது.

      kjb Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, [that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.

      tam இன்று என்னை இந்தத் தேசத்திலிருந்து துரத்திவிடுகிறீர்; நான் உமது சமுகத்துக்கு விலகி மறைந்து, பூமியில் நிலையற்று அலைகிறவனாயிருப்பேன்; என்னைக் கண்டுபிடிக்கிறவன் எவனும் என்னைக் கொன்றுபோடுவானே என்றான்.

      Genesis 4 :15

      kjb And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

      kjb And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

      tam அப்படியே காயீன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, ஏதேனுக்குக் கிழக்கான நோத் என்னும் தேசத்தில் குடியிருந்தான்.

      kjb And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

      tam காயீன் தன் மனைவியை அறிந்தான்; அவள் கர்ப்பவதியாகி, ஏனோக்கைப் பெற்றாள்; அப்பொழுது அவன் ஒரு பட்டணத்தைக் கட்டி, அந்தப் பட்டணத்துக்குத் தன் குமாரனாகிய ஏனோக்குடைய பேரை இட்டான்.

      kjb And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.

      tam ஏனோக்குக்கு ஈராத் பிறந்தான்; ஈராத் மெகுயவேலைப் பெற்றான்; மெகுயவேல் மெத்தூசவேலைப் பெற்றான்; மெத்தூசவேல் லாமேக்கைப் பெற்றான்.

      Genesis 4 :19

      kjb And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one [was] Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

      tam லாமேக்கு இரண்டு ஸ்திரீகளை விவாகம்பண்ணினான்; ஒருத்திக்கு ஆதாள் என்று பேர், மற்றொருத்திக்குச் சில்லாள் என்று பேர்.

      Genesis 4 :20

      kjb And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and [of such as have] cattle.

      tam ஆதாள் யாபாலைப் பெற்றாள்; அவன் கூடாரங்களில் வாசம்பண்ணுகிறவர்களுக்கும், மந்தை மேய்க்கிறவர்களுக்கும் தகப்பனானான்.

      kjb And his brother's name [was] Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

      kjb And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain [was] Naamah.

      kjb And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.

      kjb If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

      kjb And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, [said she], hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

      Genesis 5 :1

      kjb This [is] the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

      tam ஆதாமின் வம்சவரலாறு: தேவன் மனுஷனைச் சிருஷ்டித்த நாளிலே அவனைத் தேவசாயலாக உண்டாக்கினார்.

      Genesis 5 :2

      kjb Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

      tam அவர்களை ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாகச் சிருஷ்டித்து, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்து, அவர்களைச் சிருஷ்டித்த நாளிலே அவர்களுக்கு மனுஷர் என்று பேரிட்டார்.

      kjb And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat [a son] in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

      kjb And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

      tam மனுஷர் பூமியின்மேல் பெருகத்துவக்கி, அவர்களுக்குக் குமாரத்திகள் பிறந்தபோது:

      Genesis 6 :2

      kjb That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

      tam தேவகுமாரர் மனுஷகுமாரத்திகளை அதிக செளந்தரியமுள்ளவர்களென்று கண்டு, அவர்களுக்குள்ளே தங்களுக்குப் பெண்களைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்கள்.

      Genesis 6 :3

      kjb And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

      tam அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: என் ஆவி என்றைக்கும் மனுஷனோடே போராடுவதில்லை; அவன் மாம்சந்தானே, அவன் இருக்கப்போகிற நாட்கள் நூற்றிருபது வருஷம் என்றார்.

      Genesis 6 :4

      kjb There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.

      tam அந்நாட்களில் இராட்சதர் பூமியிலே இருந்தார்கள்; பின்பு தேவகுமாரர் மனுஷகுமாரத்திகளோடே கூடுகிறதினால், இவர்கள் அவர்களுக்குப் பிள்ளைகளைப் பெற்றபோது, இவர்களும் பூர்வத்தில் பேர்பெற்ற மனுஷராகிய பலவான்களானார்கள்.

      Genesis 6 :5

      kjb And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.

      tam மனுஷனுடைய அக்கிரமம் பூமியிலே பெருகினது என்றும், அவன் இருதயத்து நினைவுகளின் தோற்றமெல்லாம் நித்தமும் பொல்லாததே என்றும், கர்த்தர் கண்டு,

      Genesis 6 :6

      kjb And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

      tam தாம் பூமியிலே மனுஷனை உண்டாக்கினதற்காகக் கர்த்தர் மனஸ்தாபப்பட்டார்; அது அவர் இருதயத்துக்கு விசனமாயிருந்தது.

      Genesis 6 :7

      kjb And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

      tam அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர்: நான் சிருஷ்டித்த மனுஷனைப் பூமியின்மேல் வைக்காமல், மனுஷன் முதற்கொண்டு, மிருகங்கள் ஊரும் பிராணிகள் ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் பரியந்தமும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளை நிக்கிரகம்பண்ணுவேன்; நான் அவர்களை உண்டாக்கினது எனக்கு மனஸ்தாபமாயிருக்கிறது என்றார்.

      Genesis 6 :8

      kjb But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

      tam நோவாவுக்கோ, கர்த்தருடைய கண்களில் கிருபை கிடைத்தது.

      Genesis 6 :9

      kjb These [are] the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man [and] perfect in his generations, [and] Noah walked with God.

      tam நோவாவின் வம்சவரலாறு: நோவா தன் காலத்தில் இருந்தவர்களுக்குள்ளே நீதிமானும் உத்தமனுமாயிருந்தான்; நோவா தேவனோடே சஞ்சரித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.

      Genesis 6 :10

      kjb And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

      tam நோவா சேம், காம், யாப்பேத் என்னும் மூன்று குமாரரைப் பெற்றான்.

      Genesis 6 :11

      kjb The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

      tam பூமியானது தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகச் சீர்கெட்டதாயிருந்தது; பூமி கொடுமையினால் நிறைந்திருந்தது.

      Genesis 6 :12

      kjb And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

      tam தேவன் பூமியைப் பார்த்தார்; இதோ அது சீர்கெட்டதாயிருந்தது; மாம்சமான யாவரும் பூமியின்மேல் தங்கள் வழியைக் கெடுத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

      Genesis 6 :13

      kjb And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

      tam அப்பொழுது தேவன் நோவாவை நோக்கி: மாம்சமான யாவரின் முடிவும் எனக்கு முன்பாக வந்தது; அவர்களாலே பூமி கொடுமையினால் நிறைந்தது; நான் அவர்களைப் பூமியோடுங்கூட அழித்துப்போடுவேன்.

      Genesis 6 :14

      kjb Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

      tam நீ கொப்பேர் மரத்தால் உனக்கு ஒரு பேழையை உண்டாக்கு; அந்தப் பேழையிலே அறைகளை உண்டுபண்ணி, அதை உள்ளும் புறம்புமாகக் கீல்பூசு.

      Genesis 6 :15

      kjb And this [is the fashion] which thou shalt make it [of]: The length of the ark [shall be] three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

      tam நீ அதைப் பண்ணவேண்டிய விதம் என்னவென்றால், பேழையின் நீளம் முந்நூறு முழமும், அதின் அகலம் ஐம்பது முழமும், அதின் உயரம் முப்பது முழமுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

      Genesis 6 :16

      kjb A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; [with] lower, second, and third [stories] shalt thou make it.

      tam நீ பேழைக்கு ஓர் ஜன்னலை உண்டுபண்ணி, மேல்தட்டுக்கு ஒரு முழத் தாழ்த்தியிலே அதைச் செய்துமுடித்து, பேழையின் கதவை அதின் பக்கத்தில் வைத்து, கீழ் அறைகளையும், இரண்டாம் தட்டின் அறைகளையும், மூன்றாம் தட்டின் அறைகளையும் பண்ணவேண்டும்.

      Genesis 6 :17

      kjb And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein [is] the breath of life, from under heaven; [and] every thing that [is] in the earth shall die.

      tam வானத்தின்கீழே ஜீவசுவாசமுள்ள சகல மாம்ச ஜந்துக்களையும் அழிக்க நான் பூமியின்மேல் ஜலப்பிரளயத்தை வரப்பண்ணுவேன்; பூமியிலுள்ள யாவும் மாண்டுபோம்.

      Genesis 6 :18

      kjb But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

      tam ஆனாலும் உன்னுடனே என் உடன்படிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்துவேன்; நீயும், உன்னோடேகூட உன் குமாரரும், உன் மனைவியும், உன் குமாரரின் மனைவிகளும், பேழைக்குள் பிரவேசியுங்கள்.

      Genesis 6 :19

      kjb And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every [sort] shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep [them] alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

      tam சகலவித மாம்சமான ஜீவன்களிலும் ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக வகை ஒன்றுக்கு ஒவ்வொரு ஜோடு உன்னுடன் உயிரோடே காக்கப்படுவதற்கு, பேழைக்குள்ளே சேர்த்துக்கொள்.

      Genesis 6 :20

      kjb Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every [sort] shall come unto thee, to keep [them] alive.

      tam ஜாதிஜாதியான பறவைகளிலும், ஜாதிஜாதியான மிருகங்களிலும், பூமியிலுள்ள சகல ஜாதிஜாதியான ஊரும் பிராணிகளிலும், வகை ஒன்றுக்கு ஒவ்வொரு ஜோடு உயிரோடே காக்கப்படுவதற்கு உன்னிடத்திலே வரக்கடவது.

      Genesis 6 :21

      kjb And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather [it] to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

      tam உனக்கும் அவைகளுக்கும் ஆகாரமாகச் சகலவித போஜனபதார்த்தங்களையும் சேர்த்து, உன்னிடத்தில் வைத்துக்கொள் என்றார்.

      Genesis 6 :22

      kjb Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

      tam நோவா அப்படியே செய்தான்; தேவன் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியெல்லாம் அவன் செய்து முடித்தான்.

      Genesis 7 :1

      kjb And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

      tam கர்த்தர் நோவாவை நோக்கி: நீயும் உன் வீட்டார் அனைவரும் பேழைக்குள் பிரவேசியுங்கள்; இந்தச் சந்ததியில் உன்னை எனக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமானாகக் கண்டேன்.

      Genesis 7 :2

      kjb Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that [are] not clean by two, the male and his female.

      tam பூமியின்மீதெங்கும் வித்தை உயிரோடே காக்கும்பொருட்டு, நீ சுத்தமான சகல மிருகங்களிலும், ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக எவ்வேழு ஜோடும், சுத்தமில்லாத மிருகங்களில் ஆணும் பெண்ணுமாக ஒவ்வொரு ஜோடும்,

      Genesis 7 :3

      kjb Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

      tam ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளிலும், சேவலும் பேடுமாக எவ்வேழு ஜோடும் உன்னிடத்தில் சேர்த்துக்கொள்.

      Genesis 7 :4

      kjb For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

      tam இன்னும் ஏழுநாள் சென்றபின்பு, நாற்பதுநாள் இரவும் பகலும் பூமியின்மேல் மழையை வருஷிக்கப்பண்ணி, நான் உண்டாக்கின ஜீவஜந்துக்கள் அனைத்தையும் பூமியின்மேல் இராதபடிக்கு நிக்கிரகம்பண்ணுவேன் என்றார்.

      Genesis 7 :5

      kjb And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

      tam நோவா தனக்குக் கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டபடியெல்லாம் செய்தான்.

      Genesis 7 :6

      kjb And Noah [was] six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

      tam ஜலப்பிரளயம் பூமியின்மேல் உண்டானபோது, நோவா அறுநூறு வயதாயிருந்தான்.

      Genesis 7 :7

      kjb And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

      tam ஜலப்பிரளயத்துக்குத் தப்பும்படி நோவாவும் அவனுடனேகூட அவன் குமாரரும், அவன் மனைவியும், அவன் குமாரரின் மனைவிகளும் பேழைக்குள் பிரவேசித்தார்கள்.

      Genesis 7 :8

      kjb Of clean beasts, and of beasts that [are] not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,

      tam தேவன் நோவாவுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, சுத்தமான மிருகங்களிலும், சுத்தமல்லாத மிருகங்களிலும், பூமியின்மேல் ஊரும் பிராணிகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும்,

      Genesis 7 :9

      kjb There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

      tam ஆணும் பெண்ணும் ஜோடுஜோடாக நோவாவிடத்தில் பேழைக்குட்பட்டன.

      Genesis 7 :10

      kjb And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

      tam ஏழுநாள் சென்றபின்பு பூமியின்மேல் ஜலப்பிரளயம் உண்டாயிற்று.

      Genesis 7 :11

      kjb In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

      tam நோவாவுக்கு அறுநூறாம் வயதாகும் வருஷம் இரண்டாம் மாதம் பதினேழாம் தேதியாகிய அந்நாளிலே, மகா ஆழத்தின் ஊற்றுக்கண்களெல்லாம் பிளந்தன; வானத்தின் மதகுகளும் திறவுண்டன.

      Genesis 7 :12

      kjb And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

      tam நாற்பதுநாள் இரவும் பகலும் பூமியின்மேல் பெருமழை பெய்தது.

      Genesis 7 :13

      kjb In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

      tam அன்றைத்தினமே நோவாவும், நோவாவின் குமாரராகிய சேமும் காமும் யாப்பேத்தும், அவர்களுடனேகூட நோவாவின் மனைவியும், அவன் குமாரரின் மூன்று மனைவிகளும், பேழைக்குள் பிரவேசித்தார்கள்.

      Genesis 7 :14

      kjb They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.

      tam அவர்களோடு ஜாதிஜாதியான சகலவிதக் காட்டு மிருகங்களும், ஜாதிஜாதியான சகலவித நாட்டு மிருகங்களும், பூமியின்மேல் ஊருகிற ஜாதிஜாதியான சகலவித ஊரும் பிராணிகளும்,
