About this ebook
In this study, three kinds of emotion are discussed: anger, depression and guilt. They are the most destructive of emotions. But what does the Bible say about them? Can they be prevented? Can they be even beneficial? This study, although short, offers spiritual yet practical advice in dealing with these emotions. Much can be learned and taught from this study.

I'm a retired pastor now concentrating on what I love best: writing. I graduated from Journalism and took special classes on Christian ministry. I live alone with one cat who believes I'm the pet and not her. My wife, Alma, passed away in 2010. I have one daughter who lives not too far from with two children and a doting husband. I certainly would want to get to know my readers and fellow authors. Please write to me.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5God used to this catch me from falling, I believe that prayer was involved. Praise God! Glory to the Father and the Son. I couldn't quite give it five stars, but it was well worth the [short] read.

Introduction
Human beings were created with emotions. They are expressions of how we respond to certain situations or individuals. Emotions also verify that we were created in the likeness of God, for God expresses emotions as we shall see towards the end of this study.
In this study we will only be citing a few basic emotions, for emotions can vary with the individual in degree and complexity (e.g. mixed emotions). However, this study hopes to reveal how our emotions can glorify God and serve ourselves and others in a positive way.
The emotional isolation of modern man
The social mask
produces loneliness. Formerly man was controlled, but social class gave a framework to individual life. The anonymity of the large city can make you feel like a nobody in the crowd.
Modern man’s loneliness is not the mark of those defeated in life, the sensitive, or the nervous only, but equally the leaders of the elite.
Man’s loneliness is linked with fear. Fear isolates.
