About this ebook
What happened in the Lake District twenty-six years ago that resulted in a family being torn apart? An old tragedy, still unresolved, brings together estranged brother and sister Adam and Kirsty, who try to solve it despite their relatives’ objections. Does a missing camera hold clues to what might have happened?
Meanwhile Kirsty, co-owner of a cake-making company, has more immediate worries in the form of increasingly threatening emails and gifts, all sent anonymously. Someone is watching her – someone who knows where she lives. Is it an obsessed stranger, or one of her circle of friends? Is there anyone she can trust?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It helped that I made my own quick family chart to put right next to the book so I could quickly determine who was who right at the beginning----even though the author had provided a list of characters at the beginning.... My arrowed chart showed who was related to whom...no, not that I needed it for long but it helped. The book moves fast and doesn't overdo the details so you are quickly led from the crime to the happenings and then you jump in time. At this point the story is very helpful as it goes back and forth between the time periods, filling in the missing details.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Anthea Fraser Is good at presenting normal people reacting to abnormal events. Her plotting is neat and each section leads into the next, drawing the reader on.
