About this ebook
The past is a long time when you are immortal. Seeds planted long ago in the lives of vampires and fairies bloom and produce unexpected fruit in the present. In the award-winning November Snow Series, our main character reaps the harvest of decisions made long ago. The three short stories in this collection provide a glimpse into the back stories of several key characters as well as insight into plot points that arise in all three novels in the series.
"She Forges a Peace" provides a glimpse into the formation of the ancient alliance between fairies and vampires, an event with a surprising connection to November. "He Worships his Queen" delves into the painful childhood of vampire Luka, the complex primary villain in She Dies at the End. "She Fears the Dark" focuses on popular fairy characters Pine and Zinnia as they take a trip to Disneyland that turns into an unexpectedly dangerous adventure and a commentary on compassion between enemies.
A.M. Manay
A.M. Manay writes page-turning, character-driven fantasy with a Bay Area sensibility. In addition to her work as an indie author of supernatural fiction, Manay is a former inner-city chemistry teacher, a singer, a yoga enthusiast, a Clerk of Session in the Presbyterian Church (USA), and a mother through domestic open adoption. She has a passion for increasing diversity in popular culture and for strong heroines who stand up for themselves, make their own decisions, and don't depend on romance as their reason for being.

She Sees in Her Sleep (Three November Snow Shorts) - A.M. Manay
Praise for She Dies at the End (November Snow Book 1)
An impressive debut, I would definitely recommend She Dies at the End to anyone who has been hesitant to venture into the paranormal genre, as well as existing paranormal enthusiasts. It was one of those reads where I would dive in planning to read for only a short bit and then end up surprised at how much time had passed when I finally came up for air. I am eagerly looking forward to the next installment in the series (currently in the works) as I can’t wait to see what A.M. has planned next for November and her supernatural friends. — Ashley Millard, Book Blogger (The Unofficial Book Club)
A.M. Manay's words just flow. Definitely an exceptional writer. Hard to create a fantasy world believable to adults. The dialogue is natural and her writing, tight. I'm very particular about tight manuscripts as self published authors tend to ramble, and forego editors. There are so many points to rave about in this book. If you love supernatural stories, this is a book that you MUST include in your collection.

On page one, I thought, Wow. This is slick writing.
Very tight. No extra words. No unnecessary adverbs or weasel words. Just good, clean writing. By the end of the first chapter, I was in love with November, the main character. By the middle of the second chapter, I couldn't put the book down. I finished the book two days ago, and I still think of the characters as if they will show up in front of me, just to give me an update. To me, that is the mark of an excellent book. I crave book two. — Patient Lee, Author
Praise for She Lights Up the Dark (November Snow Book 2)
As in the previous book, the action is fast-paced with lots of moving parts; however, A.M. weaves everything together into a seamless, flowing plot that leads up an explosive climax. For me, it was one of those chill-inducing moments that made me marvel at how it all fell into place: the story, the title, the cover. It was nothing less than perfection. — Ashley Millard, Book Blogger (The Unofficial Book Club)
A.M. Manay continues her saga of warring vampire factions, faeries, werewolves and humans in this spellbinding sequel to She Dies at the End. New vampire November Snow is once again at the center of danger and ruling court intrigue, as she struggles to understand her new life and to return to her maker, Ilyn, all the while fleeing her previous captor, Luka. There are twists and turns aplenty with shocking revelations I never saw coming. The writing is smooth, extremely well done, and the characters are ones you can’t help but to invest in emotionally. As in any series with a large cast, I have my favorites, and several of them surprised the heck out of me. Kudos to the author who kept the surprises and the momentum building right up until a nail-biting ending. If you love urban fantasy novels, this is a series you don’t want to miss! — Mae Clair, Author
