About this ebook
As a Literary Agent at one of the top four agencies, I get about a million emails a day from writers, whether they be authors or screenwriters, wanting to pitch their story to me. The ones I delete the fastest all start with "I have a completely original story" and the ones I actually read give me their three comps within the first three sentences. If you are not sure what I mean by comps and why I immediately delete the ones that say they have original story ideas, then this blunt guide is for you.

A Hollywood Literary Agent's Blunt Guide on How to Write Stories That Sell! - Arial Gold
Chapter One - What is This?
I am a Literary Agent with one of the top two agencies in the world and I mainly work with screenwriters and authors.
This guide is designed for authors looking to learn how to write novels sellable to Hollywood and how to get the work into the right hands once completed. I wrote this guide with the intention of helping authors write a novel that will have the potential for a high number of sales. What this guide is not, is another bullshit book written by agents in smaller agencies or so called experts who fill pages with mis-information that you can get free online. I write this to make money. All proceeds of this guide are going to charity to help childen.
There are fifty books on Kindle claiming to teach you how to be a Kindle bestseller. All they teach you is to find niche markets like Hula Hooping and where to find a writer overseas that will write it for twenty bucks. Bestseller? Well technically sorta kinda only in categories rankings.
This guide will teach you how to write material that will sell and is not a get rich quick scheme. It is lot of work. If it were easy everyone would be doing it. This guide however is easy to follow and has been proven to work again and again.
Chapter Two - Let our Meeting Begin
I am writing this guide as if I am in my office talking to one of the Oscar winning screenwriters or a bestselling author who just got a movie deal that I represent. And hey, I would haven given this away for free online…but if I can make a few bucks for my charity I will.
Hollywood is a magical place. It is full of movie stars and dreams that come true. Even the most unattractive guys have supermodels on each arm. You can live in the Hollywood Hills with beautiful views, and if you are truly special, you’ll even have a view of the Hollywood sign!
I myself live in the Hills and can see the Hollywood sign out a window in my bathroom, which is funny because as I am taking a dump I cant help but wonder who is out there in la-la land getting shit on, right this very second, by people like me.
If you are wondering why this guide is not super long, the answer is simple. I didn’t see the need to add a bunch of fluff that you probably already
