About this series

The experience of falling under the power is increasing across the globe in most Christian denominations. Evangelical, Orthodox, Pentecostal and Charismatic churches are seeing revivals and stirrings of the Spirit that are accompanied by shaking, screaming, shouting in tongues, falling under the power, rolling on the floor, dancing in the Spirit, holy laughter and other forms of physical manifestations of the Spirit. While some believers cherish these experiences and look forward to them at the least opportunity, others frown on them and even detest them.
Several instances of falling under the power occur in the Bible. In many of the recorded instances of falling under the power in New Testament, Jesus Christ was the intermediary between God and those who had that experience. He is still in our midst doing the same things He did when He was on earth. The resurrected Lord is still making people fall under the power through the power of the Holy Ghost.

    The Laying On Of Hands

The laying on of hands is a spiritual process by which hands are laid on people for the transfer of spiritual virtue, gifts and blessings. The practice of laying on of hands is an ancient tradition which began in the Old Testament, continued in the ministry of Christ and in the New Testament Church and is in practice in the Church today. This practice is one of the most treasured abilities God has given the Church. It is so important to the Body of Christ that we have to teach and practise it constantly to keep it alive. In this book I teach on the meaning of laying on of hands, trace its practice in the Bible and explain the power that is available to the Church through it. A mighty revival of the Holy Ghost is lowing across the globe, which features laying on of hands and manifestations of the Spirit.

    Mantles

In Bible times, a mantle was an outer garment that was worn for additional covering and warmth. These days, especially among Charismatic and Pentecostal believers, the word “mantle” is used for a piece of cloth or garment that is placed on people with the aim of imparting the power of God into their lives. The aim of this book is to expose the scriptural basis for the use of “mantles” and “handkerchiefs” as well as motivate believers to appropriate the power behind this divine provision for miracles and spiritual empowerment. It is scriptural to use mantles to minister to people. When a garment or piece of cloth comes into direct contact with a man who has the anointing on his life, some of it rubs off onto the cloth.

  • Anointing With Oil

    Anointing With Oil
    Anointing With Oil

Using anointing oil to minister to people is a controversial issue among believers. Some believers detest its use so much that they walk out of meetings when it is used. The aim of this book is to give us biblical insight into the purpose of the anointing oil and how it can be used for the edification and blessing of believers. With regard to this subject we don't have to condemn others for their position. It is scriptural to use anointing oil in ministration but not mandatory. The law of liberty allows those whose faith is enhanced by the use of the oil to use it and those whose faith does not require it not to use it. Those who use it are not more spiritual than those who don't use it and those who don't use it don't necessarily have more faith in the Word of God than those who use it.

  • The Power Of Breath

    The Power Of Breath
    The Power Of Breath

Breathing is the most important vital and basic function of human life and that is why it is significant to spiritual life. If the laying on of hands, which employs the power of touch, has spiritual implications then breathing must have a spiritual effect on people. The basis for operating by breath lies in the fact that during the creation of man, God breathed into him. He formed man out of the dust of the earth and breathed into him and he became a living soul. If a minister breathes upon people, he imparts to them the characteristics of the human soul that are generated by the Holy Ghost. Ministers who are spiritual impart vitally and creativity to the Body of Christ through the power of the Holy Ghost. If we hear or see a minister breathe upon people, we can exercise our faith in the Word of God for the quickening of our souls at that moment.
