    Introduction

Student World is a group of college lecturers and professors. We understand how high school and college students feel when they are given to read literature, especially classics. They generally get lost in the long and complex sentences, a parade of characters, and shifting narratives, thus making it difficult for them to make head from tail.

Our guide books are written in very simple and clear language, without exaggerating the facts. We do not include our opinions and never become too subjective while analyzing the works of literature.

We try to make our books as easy as possible for students to read them and learn from them so that when they read the original texts of the classics or other works of literature, they are prepared and they know what the work is about.

In this book we have included introduction to the book, plot overview, about major characters, complete summary, and critical analysis.

Although we know that some students do not want to read the original text because they prepare only to pass their exams or tests, yet we insist that they read the original text of the book so that they can understand the subtle aspects of the narrative which can't be presented in this treatise.

    About Where Things Come Back

Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley was first published in 2011. It is a coming-of-age novel. The story is set in a small community, and it tells about what pains a person has to go through while he or she is growing up in such a community.

The novel describes how much difficulty a person has to face when the person has to choose own path in life.

The central plot of the story revolves around Cullen Witter, a teenage boy. He lives in a small town named Lily, in Arkansas.

He does not have a very wide social area to move around in his small community. Since it is a very small community, nothing interesting takes place there.

Cullen has a strong desire to leave that place and go somewhere else to begin his life somewhere else. He is looking for an exciting life. However, he is not sure what his future life is going to be like.

One thing is sure that he does not want to spend the rest of his life in that small town of Lily. His parents happen to have spent their lives there, but he is different.

Cullen has come to realize that dreams can’t become a reality in that small town. At this point, there is a twist in the story when something surprising happens.
