About this ebook

In “The Watcher”, we follow a very grumpy ghost who does not like the fact that he now has a new roommate. He would have been perfectly happy in living out the rest of eternity on his own, but she had to walk through the door and ruin everything.

“The True Afterlife?” is an adaptation from Hans Christian Andersen's “The Elf of the Rose”. In this story we follow a little elf named Osc who ends up helping a new elf, Bobert seeks revenge for not only his death, but also the death of Bobert's fiancé.
Garden gnomes are pretty creepy to begin with, but when come alive things just get weird.

In “Unknowing Revenge”, Mia and her cat companion, Whisk discover that they not only have garden gnomes for guardians but the giant boa constrictor that just slithered in like it owns the place is supposedly going to keep them all safe, or is he?

Barbara Bilsky

Barbara Bilsky mainly writes paranormal and fantasy stories, but she also loves dabbling in a bit of mystery and romance. She loves transforming the ideas in her mind into novels, short stories, and scripts. It began at twelve when she wrote her first book, and even though she still cringes at all of the spelling and grammar mistakes, she holds onto it because it was the beginning of her crazy journey. When she was in high school, Barbara was always told that writing was something you couldn’t make a career out of, or you did, you were extremely lucky. She shied away from her writing, keeping it only for herself. She earned her A.A. degree in Communication Studies hoping it would steer her onto a solid career path, but Barbara just couldn’t get writing out of her head. After some extensive research, she decided it was worth the risk to become a writer, to follow what she had so long been craving to do. With a desire to fine-tune her craft, Barbara attended Full Sail University where she graduated with a B.F.A. in Creative Writing for Entertainment. It is her dream one day to take her bard toting skills to England and Ireland. Perhaps on all those train rides, she can think of stories as she crochets or tats staring at the bucolic countryside. Barbara is currently completing her first novel A Simple Days Work. It’s about a woodland elf who can’t seem to keep her fingers off the flowers and a dragon with allergy issues. They need to work together to stop the competition from stealing their clients. A Simple Days Work is due for release in 2019.

We had a deal. He knows I don’t like people moving into my beautiful home and mucking about with things. He knows my rules.

Okay, so I can’t talk to the stupid little shit that took over his father’s ownership of this place but he knows I hate to be disturbed. I haven’t had to deal with another person invading my home for a good 60 years now. Why is this cretin allowing people into my home now?

I know why, of course I know why. He doesn’t believe that I exist. He doesn’t believe in all of the stories his father told him about me. I know for a fact that when he was younger he witnessed some of my awesome power but now it’s plain to see that he just doesn’t believe.

Why doesn’t he see me you ask? It’s very simple really. I’m dead, dead as a doornail. I’ll be 87 come January. I died when I was 27 as a result of getting hit by a car. The driver was paying way too much attention to something or other and felt the need to speed up around a kind of sharp
