    Thomas King came to Texas 9 years ago after spending most of his life in Southern California. Thomas King has written and directed several plays over the past 7 years and is also the author of two books, one of which has sold over 20,000 copies and is still on shelves in several retail outlets. Thomas King is the patented inventor of “The Pet King’ Dog and Cat travel Dish, which has sold over a half a million units to date. He is the Pastor of Embassy of Grace Church in Irving Texas. He is a screen writer as well as a filmmaker and has written and directed two short films, one of which has placed in two categories in an international Film Festival, including “Best Short Documentary in Texas”. He is currently shopping his new screenplay” Seven Locks; Unleashed”, and lives with his wife Monica in DeSoto Texas.

      Introduction

      After serving in the transportation industry for over 25 years, off and on, I think I may have learned a few things about what I call, The Mobile Concierge Business.

      Driving everything from buses, shuttles, taxis, party coaches, stretch SUV limos and town cars, to recently driving for Lyft, I’ve had my fair share of passengers to say the least.

      I have to admit; I was fascinated when I first heard about Lyft. One of my limo clients was discussing Lyft with another passenger, and I knew then it was destined to revolutionize the industry.

      Only recently, after learning of Lyft two years ago, did I decide to try it out for myself.

      My wife and I recently purchased a 2012 Chevy Traverse which, in my personal opinion, is the perfect vehicle for an Lyft Driver; and being the Mobile Concierge I have become over the years, I began implementing my various skills, values and techniques that I have picked up over time, into my new found Lyft vocation.
