About this ebook
Now in one volume, both Kingston Sisters novellas: Nashville Fling (Emily's Story) and Nashville Flirt (Sarah's version of the story).
Nashville Fling
When Emily Kingston wins a date with country music hunk Bo Branson from a Nashville radio station, she knows it's meant to be. But when she and her sister, Sarah, arrive in Nashville for the big weekend, it doesn't quite work out as she planned. The date isn't really a date--it's an extended meet-and-greet for four: Bo, Emily, Sarah and Sean, the cute but annoying promotions guy from the radio station. To make matters worse, Bo only has eyes for Sarah, when Emily is the one he's supposed to be wining and dining! Emily enlists Sean to help her win Bo's attention, but Sean has a secret crush of his own.
Nashville Flirt
Country music star Bo Branson is exactly the kind of man Sarah Kingston doesn't want in her life. Sure, he's sexy, charming and surprisingly sweet when he wants to be. But he's a no-plans, no-responsibility, no-regrets kind of guy. Besides, Sarah's sister, Emily, is already half in love with him. There are a million reasons to say no to Bo...and only one reason to say yes.

Chapter One
I hope you didn't pack any academic journals in that bag,
Emily Kingston said, eying her sister Sarah's messenger bag. Because we are here to party.
Only a few,
Sarah replied sheepishly. I want to hit the ground running. I’ll be the new girl since most of the other PhD candidates will have gotten their Master’s at Princeton and already know all the professors.
Emily took her dress out of her suitcase and hung it up in the hotel's small closet. You didn't have to change schools. I mean you liked it at Northwestern. Why should you have to be the one to transfer just because Charles is a cheating, lying asshole?
Asshole, yes. Cheater I'm not so sure about.
Emily smoothed the wrinkles out of her dress, a sexy little black number she’d picked out just for Bo Branson, and closed the closet door. Oh, please. No one attends a week-long conference and shares a room with the department secretary unless he’s banging her. At least he could have cheated with someone who wasn't such a cliché.
Seeing the pain Sarah had gone through with the break-up only convinced Emily more than ever that relationships were a bad idea. Dating, fine. No strings sex, even better. But to be tied to one guy forever? No way. Emily had too much fun meeting new people, traveling and experiencing life to tie herself down. Now a guy who might like to tie her down in the bedroom? That was interesting.
Sarah had always been the serious one and commitment came naturally to her. She’d committed to staying in school until she finished her PhD, committed to Charles for the years they were at Northwestern together and even committed to a four-year cell phone contract. Sarah was the one who planned everything. On paper. Number one, finish her degree. Two, snag a good job. Three, get married. Four, buy a house in the suburbs. Five, pop out a couple of kids. Six, blah, blah, blah. Sarah didn’t have a spontaneous bone in her body. Emily seemed to have gotten all those bones.
But that was exactly the reason Emily had practically forced Sarah to drop what she was doing and be her plus-one when Emily had learned she’d won the radio station contest—an all expenses paid weekend trip to Nashville, a Bo Branson concert, and the best part, a date with the country music star after the show.
Well, that's behind me now,
Sarah said, forcing a smile. Onward and upward, right?
Exactly. We are going to party our asses off this weekend before you head back to the academic grind. Maybe you'll find a cute hook-up to take your mind off the Asshole.
One-nighters aren't exactly my style,
Sarah said, putting her prim white cotton panties in the dresser drawer, followed by her white cotton socks and her bras, also cotton and also white.
Which is exactly why you need to do it. Try something new. Break out of your boring little shell. You are going to be stuck in some stuffy library for at least a couple years from here on out. Now is the time to let loose and have some fun!
Sarah sighed heavily and sat down on the bed. Maybe you're right. I have been in a rut lately.
Great! Let's start with this,
Emily said, pulling Sarah's plain Jane underwear out of the drawer.
What's wrong with my panties?
Nothing if you're an 87-year-old nun.
She tossed them in the garbage can by the desk.
Let's go. We have enough time to do a little shopping before we have to get ready for the concert.
*****
Emily could really get used to five-star treatment, she decided, as they were ushered to front-row seating at the Ryman a few hours later. The famous stage was right there in front of her, although it looked different with the drum kit and amps as a backdrop, rather than the famous red barn used during the Grand ol’ Opry shows. Even though Emily was a born and bred Northerner, she’d always loved country music. To be here in person was a dream come true.
The place wasn’t huge and Emily liked the intimate feel of it. All the wood and brick was nice, too. It was classic old-school architecture. She even liked the church pew seating, though wearing lacy g- string panties and a short black mini-dress made her feel like anything but a Sunday school girl.
Sarah shifted beside her. How do you wear these things?
You get used to it. Once you go thong, you never go back.
I find that very difficult to believe.
Well you look hot in that dress. I never knew you had those killer curves under all the bulky sweaters and sexless slacks you usually wear. Red is definitely your color.
I have to say, dressing like this does make me feel like a different person.
Good. I mean, you know I love the person you are. You’re my sister and my best friend. But it's good to see you step out of your comfort zone once in a while.
Oh I'm out, all right. Way out. I can't say the same for my panties.
The lights dimmed and Emily forgot all about Sarah and her comfort zone. Emily had been in lust with Bo Branson since she'd seen him on the TV talent show that had launched his career. He was undeniably hot with his sandy brown hair and piercing grey eyes. And that body! Every woman’s hottest fantasy. He had a great smile, infectious grin and even dimples. Freaking dimples that should have looked ridiculous on a man as masculine as Bo. But they only added to his sex appeal, giving him a naughty little boy look Emily dreamed about. But there was something more to him than a pretty face or a great voice. From the first time he’d looked into the TV camera on the show, Emily had felt like he was looking right at her, personally.
She had never even met him in real life. She only knew him in pixels and soundbites, not flesh and blood. But she knew they had a connection. When she had entered the radio station contest, she hadn’t even been surprised that she’d won the date with Bo. It seemed fated, somehow, that they would be together.
Or maybe Emily was slowly evolving into one of those celebrity stalkers who ended up getting arrested after mailing the object of her obsession her left pinky toe as a sign of her devotion.
She shoved that possibility out of her mind. No, they were fated to meet, Emily just knew it. The moment they met in person would be magical. She'd look at him. He’d look at her. They would fall instantly in love. Okay maybe not in love, but definitely in lust. There would be a soul deep connection they both recognized and he would realize, just as she had, that it was fate that brought them together—at least for the weekend.
Emily wasn't looking for anything permanent. And she was sure Bo wasn’t either.
