About this ebook
Various acts of violence involving assault, torture, harassment, and sometimes even murder, have been carried out against members of the LGBT community. Homosexuals, bisexuals and transgender people have also faced constant discrimination in their everyday lives on the basis of their sexual orientation. This discrimination against members of the LGBT community stems from religious beliefs, political views, bias or even internal fear.
This book depicts the history of Gay Rights Movement and several true accounts of violated men and women, includes the most recent shootings at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
"This subject can be very touchy for some. I respect RJ for writing a book on the LGBT!!!. The subject of lesbian's or gays however is not touchy to me. My daughter is a lesbian. Reading this book educated me into understanding how far back the hate goes!! It's a very educational read for those of us that are caring enough to want to understand. It's a sad world that we live in. Hate crimes against LGBT is a serious problem all around the world!!! Thank you RJ for writing such a wonderful book!!!! A must read!!!!" - Amanda
"A very informative book on the subject of the LGBT community. The book explains the trials and tribulations that many have had to endure. Many have been attacked and many have faced unbelievable discrimination, all because they wanted to be who they are. The book contains factual stories of many of the cases. This is a great book to read, many that can't understand what many go through, will be informed." - M Fabregas

The Canadian writer has a better grasp of criminology and the psyche of a serial killer's mind than most people who spend a lifetime in a professional field chasing criminals and diabolic fiends." -- John Douglas (Retired FBI Agent - Behavioral Science) RJ Parker Publishing represents several authors in the genres of True Crime and Crime Fiction.
