      Last night I dreamt of The Steeas Dancer again, Jess said softly, waiting rather anxiously for her brother’s reaction.

      I’ve told you before Jess, Sam replied gently. They’re just dreams. Nevertheless he stopped chewing the piece of Gran’s freshly baked apple pie which he had just popped into his mouth, and stared at Jess with a worried frown. You shouldn’t fret about dreams Jess, they can be crazy sometimes."

      But I have the same dream over and over again. What do you think it means?

      What exactly happens in your dreams? Sam asked.

      The same thing happens every time. The Steeas Dancer is sailing on a high tide and it’s slowly sinking. Captain Felix is nowhere to be seen and Jake is trying to bark but for some reason he can’t.

      Woof, said Jake at the sound of his name, wondering if it was time for a walk. He stretched first his front legs and then his back ones, and then shook his black and white coat vigorously, until he almost toppled over."

      Are we in the boat? asked Sam, stroking Jakes soft nose as the dog placed his head on his lap.

      I’m not sure, I think so. In the dream I am feeling very scared, and I have this awful feeling which is like a mixture of panic and dread. Everything is mixed up like dreams often are, but I have never dreamt the same dream every night before.

      Jess, we kind of had a bad adventure on The Steeas Dancer last summer. Now that we’re back at Talltrees again it reminds you of what happened that’s all.
