Beliefs about Faith: The Key to Victory
()
About this ebook
Most Christians have heard a few sermons on faith and think they know a thing or two about the subject, but in this course you’ll learn just how critical faith really is. The scripture says clearly, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God.” We also learn from the apostle John in the scripture that without faith we will not enjoy victory in our life. This one subject is what makes construction of your Victory Frame worth the effort. If you fail to mix your faith with your Victory Frame beliefs, then all you will have upon completion is a dead religion.
The mission of Victory Frame is to drastically improve people's lives by providing clarity and structure to their inner beliefs. Victory Frame is useful to those struggling with mental illnesses including depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks and any type of break from reality. However, Victory Frame is also useful to any Christian who desires to get a firm grip on what it is that they believe.

Victory Frame Book II: Beliefs about Faith
Introduction
Welcome to the second volume in the Victory Frame Series. A victory frame is a term we use to describe a person’s belief system once they have thoroughly examined their beliefs and discarded the beliefs that are harmful or counterproductive, and replaced those beliefs with life giving and helpful beliefs based on true reality. The end product is a person who is spiritually, mentally and emotionally strong. When I was 20 years old, the reality
that I always knew and took for granted began to crack and crumble within me. I lost my mind. No, seriously, if I had been evaluated, I might have been put in a psychiatric facility of some kind. I was scared, depressed, and extremely confused about what was going on around me and within me. If you haven’t, I encourage you to read Volume I of the Victory Frame books: Foundational Beliefs
, in it, I give a more detailed story of my personal testimony. In this Volume, we will go into practical details on the subject of faith. I can say with certainty that the moment I started learning about faith and how to use faith I reached a turning point in my Christian life. Listen closely to what I am about to say:
Without faith you will never please God.
Without faith you will never experience lasting victory in your life.
Without faith you cannot enjoy or receive justification, righteousness, or salvation.
Anything you receive from God, you must receive by faith.
Faith is that important!! So, we are going to give you some clear belief statements on the subject of faith that will help you more readily rely on this wonderful gift of God. Before we get started though, I’d like to address something very important. The information in this book will be much less useful to you if you do not hold a very important belief near and dear to your heart. This is a belief that you may think you hold, but upon close examination, we often find that many Christians only mentally agree with. If you want your faith to be strong, you must place it in something strong. The Word of God is what a Christian should be placing their faith in. But how do we know God’s words from anyone else’s? The belief you must settle in your heart is this:
The Bible is the authoritative Word of God on this earth.
If you can begin to read the bible while holding this belief in your heart, your faith will grow by leaps and bounds. If you are not convinced that the bible is the inerrant Word of God, I want to encourage you to look into the evidence and make an educated decision about whether to hold this belief or not. Don’t just listen to pop culture, and don’t lean on your own understanding, instead search the matter out. I am confident that if you seek the truth you’ll find it. For now though, consider this acronym:
Manuscript Evidence
Archaeological Evidence
Prophetic Evidence
Statistical Evidence
(From www.faithfacts.org)
Once a person has enough evidence, they’d be hard pressed to believe otherwise. The evidence of the bible’s authority is amazing, but even more amazing is the benefits of finally allowing your heart to believe. Let me tell you from personal experience, understanding the supernatural authority of the scriptures, and the pure character of the God who allowed us to have the bible, gave me a solid Anchor in the storm.
I have actually made a short video about this subject on the Victory Frame Facebook page. It is titled Important Ingredient for Faith.
