      A Note to the Reader

      Dear reader, I am writing this book for you because I want to share with you the magic of working with angels to create a life you have only dreamed about! Most people go through life feeling like they are powerless to change their trajectory. We are taught that we should accept the status quo and put up with the daily grind. We are taught to run on the hamster wheel of life without looking around at what is out there. We are powerful creators who can have more than most of us have dreamed possible. The angels are our allies on this journey and they are like a huge network of helpers we all have at our disposal.

      I have had so many incredible experiences and life-altering shifts since I started working with angels and I want you to have them too! After all, we are all in this together, aren’t we? This is a game called ‘life’. That is really what this whole experience is like – a game. The problem is most people don’t know they are playing a game, and they certainly don’t know the rules of the game. This book is designed to help you learn the rules and figure out how to get what you want out of the game. The amazing thing about this game is that everyone can win. There are no automatic losers here, the universe is that brilliant. If you follow this process, change will happen and once you have experienced it for yourself, you too will understand just what is possible. Once you do, please tell all your friends and help them on their path to building a magical and wonderful life. Do you want to be in the magical Harry Potter world or the muggle world? I choose the magic world and I hope you do too!

      Why this book?

      You know what the issue is with this world? Everyone wants a magical solution to their problem, and everyone refuses to believe in magic. ~ Jefferson (the Mad Hatter) in Once Upon a Time

      I have already led a wild life with lots of amazing experiences, but I will start right here and say the best is yet to come. I have only been using the tools I am giving you through this book for the last few years or so and the shifts I have experienced have been incredible. Once I realized how powerful this process was, I started telling people. I created a workshop around this work and that was good but I want even more people to understand the power they have at their disposal.

      Flash back to 6 years ago and I was in a totally different place. I was unemployed, in a bad marriage, overweight, sick and couldn’t sleep without medication. I was completely miserable. I also felt completely trapped which I think goes hand in hand with misery. Not only did I feel awful but I had no idea what to do about it. I think that was the worst part. My life was falling apart at the seams. In retrospect, that is exactly what needed to happen. I was so desperate and all my regular approaches had failed me – they had actually gotten me into this mess to begin with! As a last resort to sort my life out, I went to a psychic. She told me a lot of things but the best thing she told me was to talk to angels. This was a new idea to me. I was not religious and it had never occurred to me that angels were anything outside of Christianity and it certainly never occurred to me that they were real. Like you and me real.

      I thought, What the hell (ironic when thinking about the angels I know), why not? So I did it, I asked the angels to help. I didn’t even know what to ask for so I just asked for help, in general. Shortly after that, I had my first angel visitation which just about blew my mind. You can read more about this whole process in my book Angels: How to Understand, Recognize and Receive Their Guidance, or my second book Life and the After-Life: Notes from a Medium and Angel Communicator, so I won’t go into great detail here. I will say that angels appeared and gave me a sense of love and support when I really needed it. My whole view of reality shifted. I realized they were there for me and I was not alone and that I would be alright. I always knew I had a loving family, but I was in a different state from them when all of this happened, so I did feel very alone when my marriage and life were in complete upheaval. Of course this all happened at the start of the recession, right after the end of a contract position, so even my ability to make a livelihood in the traditional way was not possible. The connection with angels during this critical time was a game changer for me.

      After this visitation, I started to ask for help, first, with little things and then later with bigger things. I realized there really aren’t such things as big or little things with the angels, not really. More and more magical or miraculous things started to happen. No, life wasn’t perfect right away, but I learned as I went. I learned what I wanted, how to clear things that were blocking me from those things, and how to work with the angels to achieve my vision. It was definitely a learning process and over the years, I have refined the process and that is what this book is about. It is about giving you a toolkit, one that is magical, because it works in any situation! The angels are of the magical realm and by working with them almost anything is possible.

      My life now is completely unrecognizable from the life I had 6 years ago and I have only really used this process to purposefully change my life in the last few years. I now have a thriving business as a medium and clairvoyant. I travel regularly for work and play, I am a published author, I work a few hours a day or sometimes not at all, and I go out with friends several times a week. I love this life, and hope that you can create what you want. The point is my life now is a far departure from my life 6 years ago when I sat at home, sleepless in Seattle (truly), unemployed, unhappily married, generally miserable, sick, and feeling depressed.

      This book will teach you how the process works as well as how to go through the steps. You will learn what blocks the process and common pitfalls. You will learn how to think about what you really want (not what you think you want). And then you will learn how to get it. Once
