      A Student’s Dilemma

      As a student, the path you are on is one of discovery, learning, and growth.

      However, these things don’t just happen.

      The dilemma is that all of these things cost money; which leads us to think that there needs to be a legitimate way to pay for education and all the associated living costs that come with it.

      As engaging and fun as the student lifestyle is, many financial obligations that can come up along the way. After all, trying to become the next prodigy as well as have a wild social life is going to cost you!

      So, what are the significant obligations that tend to fall on the lap of a student?

      Cost of living

      Your first and foremost obligation is the cost of living.

      Since everything costs more these days, you should make this your number one responsibility. Can you afford to eat, keep the power on, stay warm at night and find some modicum of entertainment?

      A majority of students suffer from the increasing cost of rent and the cost of living. It is, however, apparent that staying at home can reduce living costs. If you cannot or do not want to do this, then you will more likely find that your average day-to-day living costs will sky-rocket.

      Loan costs

      Your next obligation is going to be the loan that almost every student needs these days.

      It’s free today, but you do need to pay it back in the future – so, don’t let your obligations escape you when it comes to repaying the loan.

      Educational materials

      You’ll need accessories; laptops, learning materials, tutoring costs, books and an Internet connection. These are vital necessities as part of your learning process and are just as important as the cost of living and your loans.

      Having fun

      The other major obligation that all students have is a fun fund.

      Taking education seriously is different from not having any fun. Make sure you have the kind of money you need to have some fun with friends. Whether it’s eating junk food, going to parties or a gaming night in the dorms with friends, the obligations that a student has to deal with can vary depending on their personal situation, course, and location.

      However, just about every student out there is going to deal with the expenses listed above. These are standard costs that will significantly hamper your enjoyment of going to university or college in the future.

      How you got dragged into this mess in the first place

      The way that we manage our day-to-day finances has become tainted.

      Thus, many students struggle to get a head start in life. The education system today goes hand-in-hand with financial catastrophe.

      How can you ever make the most of your passions and talents when you have an insurmountable amount of debt you must pay back?
