Week 1: Easy Ways to Make Your Life More Interesting
Do you wish that your life was more interesting but feel that there is nothing you can do to change it? Many of us live from day to day stuck in our comfort zone, only to find that life is uneventful and unexciting. It can seem frightening to leave your comfort zone, but the key is to start with small steps. This is what you’ll do this week.
Action Plan for Week 1
Each day this week, you’ll look at a different way of making your daily life more interesting by stepping out of your comfort zone. Don’t worry, none of the changes are very dramatic but they can be the first steps toward further changes in your life.
Day 1: Vary Your Daily Routine
Today, vary your daily routine in just one way. You could, for example:
Drive a different route to or from work.
Walk for all or part of the way to or from work and take time to admire nature or notice an interesting landmark.
At lunchtime, take time to savor your lunch in a café that you’ve never visited before.
Take a lunchtime walk in an area that you don’t know well and see what you discover.
After work, stop somewhere on the way home or make a detour to visit an interesting
