Help! My Kid Hates School.
Getting out of the house in the morning is hard enough. Add to that a child who whines and dawdles, fakes a tummyache, or downright refuses to come… and it can become almost impossible.
Helping kids with homework and assignments and passing the grade, is hard enough. Add to that a child who procrastinates, complains, flat-out refuses or downright lies about work assigned – and it can become impossible.
Being with our kids as they scrape their knees, fear the dark, cry when friends aren't friendly, or when they lash out verbally or physically at other kids, or at us, as a way to deal with their stress, is hard enough. Add to that a child who is seriously depressed, solidly miserable, deeply angry and resentful, chronically anxious, or downright scared, every day – and family life can feel like torture.
If your child hates school, everyday life can become a constant battle.
Yet, more and more families have this problem, every day.
Tragically, you might even start believing there is something 'wrong' with your child.
