About this ebook
Abandoned by her birth parents and ignored by her adoptive family, Maddy Page believes she is unloveable. She only allows herself to dream of falling in love. That changes when she meets MJ; handsome and kind, MJ penetrates Maddy's defenses. Maddy soon finds herself confiding in MJ like she has with no one else, revealing secrets even her closet friends don't know. He makes her feel safe--a feeling she's never experienced except in her dreams.
When Maddy witnesses MJ disappear and reappear in thin air, she realizes she might have been wrong about him. He could be dangerous--maybe even a killer. Determined to uncover the truth about who--or what--MJ is, Maddy ignores her instinct to run. But she soon realizes that getting close to MJ could cost more than a broken heart--it could cost Maddy her soul.
Laurie Wetzel
Laurie Wetzel has always had a passion for writing, but it wasn't until a New Year's Resolution in 2011 that she finally shared with her husband her lifelong dream of becoming an author. He read the very first draft of Unclaimed and gave her the words she needed to hear: "This is what you need to be doing." Three years later, her dream became a reality when the first book in the Unclaimed Series was published. Laurie lives in Minnesota with her husband and their two young sons. When she's not writing, working, taking her boys to from sporting events, or spending time with her family, she's reading, working out, or catching up on her favorite tv shows. In 2014, Laurie became a thyroid cancer survivor and has since helped spread awareness and raise donations for research through events held both in person and online.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5****I received an arc in exchange for an honest review***
This is an unique story and I found it to be a really good read.
There are moments that are unsuspecting and I like that about a book as you keep on wanting to read.
The story-line flowed beautifully and the characters were lovable.
If you want to know what happens in this book well I guess your going to have to read it, as you should know by now I don't give spoilers. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Betrayed is a refreshingly, clean Historical fiction tale of the very difficult, confusing choices a young woman is forced to make. There are reasons she cannot turn her back on the situation of Penny, a traumatized orphan, brought to her Nanna O's home. There are several heartrending, yet interesting, situations her and her family are thrown into. It will be difficult for the reader to put the book down until the end!The Book Cover portrays some of the story well. The Title is fitting but too broad. Neither are very eye-catching for the book browser. The tale's ending was slightly weak and the perfect flow of the story was slightly interrupted. Other than these criticisms, it was perfect! My Review of this Book offers a strong Four Stars rating.I was sent this book in exchange for an honest review, of which I have given.
