      Last but not least, to my best friend, Ashaunti Anderson. You have been my friend since we were 12 years old, and you have remained the same since then. You have never judged me and always tolerated me. You have taken my good and bad, my ups and downs, and my seriousness with the craziness. Despite these things, you have always kept it real. You tell me the things that I do not want to hear and the things that I need to hear. Through it all, you have remained loyal and a constant friend that I know I will always be able to depend on.       PREFACE

      God has taught me a lot, and He has brought me a mighty long way. All the praise, honor, worship, utterances, and everything else belong to Him.

      Without God, I would not be here. I could have, should have, and would have been dead were it not for God. He saw it fit for my life to be spared as I endured the hardest 7 years of my life. He spared my life even as I disobeyed Him and did what I wanted to do. He saw it fit for me to be here right now, in this moment, sharing my story and allowing each of you to witness a portion of His goodness.

      I am blessed to be the wife and mother that I am today. I am blessed that God chose me to pastor the church He gave to us. I am blessed to be a spiritual mother, covering, mentor, counselor, and guide for those who need it. All the credit goes to God. He is truly deserving of it, and I take no credit for anything that takes place in my life.

      God is, has been, and always will be my all. For without Him, I am nothing and I can do nothing.
