About this ebook

Something drastic has happened in Morganville while Claire and her friends were away. The town looks cleaner and happier than they've ever seen it before, but when their incoming group is arrested and separated-vampires from humans-they realize that the changes definitely aren't for the better. It seems that an organization called the Daylight Foundation has offered the population of Morganville something they've never had: hope of a vampire-free future. And while it sounds like salvation-even for the vampires themselves-the truth is far more sinister and deadly.
Now, Claire, Shane and Eve need to find a way to break their friends out of Daylighter custody, before the vampires of Morganville meet their untimely end.

I can't believe it's over! I'm going to miss Morganville.

I loved this book because underneath all the action it was Claire, realizing she'd grown up somehow without noticing and that now she was an adult. Considering I've enjoyed watching Claire grow up throughout the series it was nice to see her realize it.

I felt a little like Rachel Caine had tied up it too neatly in a bow, but I can see why she'd want to give the series a proper ending considering how many books in it ended in cliffhangers. Besides, there's no way anything in Morganville will remain that tidy.

Now I kind of want to read the series again from the beginning.

Before I get into this review, I want to exclaim how amazing this series is. Despite what I’m going to say, I would totally re-read the entire series. I have been reading this series since 2007. Way before I was even a blogger. An employee recommended it to me and ever since then, I have been hooked. Every new book I had to get immediately. Not to mention that I know Morganville like the back of my hand. So to see this book end is pretty sad for me. I don’t want to end. Here we go…Ending: I’m going to start with the ending. Every book in Morganville has been leading up to this. Their freedom and I have to say that I’m disappointed with the way that is ended. It did end how I expected it to be but I wanted more…..more umph. SOO much build up went into the last few books that I really expected more. There are some unexpected plot turns that I’m not very happy with. (Hint: Michael) That is all I’m saying. The Glass House Gang: These characters never fail me. I will always adore walking the streets of Morganville with Michael, Eve, Claire and Shane. They deserve much happiness with all the craziness they went through and I’m happy that they ALL got their happy ending.Vampires: I wonder if Ms. Caine has any ideas for a spin-off with the vamps. I think all this vamps lead interesting live’s that I would totally enjoy reading books based on Amelie or Oilver past . Or even their new lives in Morganville. After reading all the books, I can say this book is great. It gives the reader one last adventure in Morganville. Daylighters is another passionate tale of survival of the fittest. Loyalties are tested and allies are made. An amazing addition, Daylighters is successful.

It made me sad and happy at the same time! I felt that overall Daylighters delivered answers, wrapped up storylines, and gave us hope for the future. Whenever I leave a series smiling it is a good thing! Thank you Morganville for the good times!

The End. Yes, after 7 years and 15 books Morganville has finally reached it;s conclusion. It has been an enjoyable run with these very eclectic characters. I will will miss them. I will miss Myrinirn with his outrageous outfits, his cute pet Bob and his bunny slippers, most of all. It ends in a satisfying bang that couldn't have been more satisfying. Good bye old friends.
