About this ebook
The Search for a New World Was a Desperate Attempt to Escape a Doomed Planet
Book Two – The Symbian Timeline
Adrift for hundreds of years, Durress and his crew search for a habitable place to call home. He feels the burden of insufferable life on their egregious starship but through courage and tolerance, he learns to survive.
They encounter a mysterious capsule drifting through space, and their lives are forever changed. Inside the capsule lies an alien life form that seizes control of the ship. Durress becomes a reluctant conduit between the alien dictator and his people. He didn't want the job and hated the idea of bowing down to a despot, feeling like a traitor to his people. He navigates his growing disdain for the tyrant in order to protect the population from cruel and unusual punishment.
Over time, the crew is transformed into a fierce band of galactic nomads, plundering resources from planetary civilizations. A menacing robot commands a network of cybernetic organisms around the world, laying waste to large cities and worldwide advancing militaries. When they reach Earth, their conquest seems unstoppable until they occupy the planet. An attack on the Symbian ship forces Durress to make a desperate attempt to evacuate his people before an explosive counts down to ship-wide destruction.

A note from the author: Nomad–Earth Timeline and Nomad–Symbian Timeline are uniquely connected. These are two separate books not considered a sequel or a prequel but two parallel independent stories. I refer to these two novels as a paraquel. There is no such word in the dictionary, but I like how it fits. They have different scenes and different characters that live through to their own distinct destinies, both converging in a conflict between the species at a focal point in the same time and place . . . Earth. One story is from the human point of view and the other, the alien's perspective. I believe you'll find both stories engaging, the characters intriguing and the twists and turns exhilarating.
