This book is dedicated to you……..to the player with big dreams and the desire to make them happen
This book will tell you all the secrets that you need to increase your vertical. A lot of players feel that whatever they were given in life is what they will always have. If there vertical is currently 20 then it will always be 20
. Players think that someone like Vince Carter or Michael Jordan came out the womb jumping way. The first secret to know is that MOSTLY everyone works on their vertical one way or the other. Professional/College athletes have secret multi-million dollar gyms with highly specialized coaches. These players don’t want the public to know just how hard they train. They want it to seem as if it was all natural, and they were gifted that way from God. Coaches obviously don’t want to the public to know their secrets because that information will help the competition. Improving your vertical takes hard work. I wish I could say that it is easy and all you have to do and rub a genie and out will come Dr. J. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. I can tell you this though, the information in here will help you jump as high as you possibly can. Even some of things that Dr. J used to do in his training is here too.
I can tell you what to do and how to do it. Actually in this book I did tell you exactly what to do and how to do it. I was one of the players who came out of the womb not jumping like Tracy McGrady. I wanted to jump higher and higher than I could. I was fascinated with dunk contests and players who could sky. I grew up watching every single dunk contest (college and pros). Dunk contests were one of the most exciting things for me to watch. Watching basketball games where someone dunked on a breakaway or even better dunk on someone, brought a HUGE rush for me. It was so exciting to the players (not the one getting dunked on) the fans and much more so for me. I used to dream of one day doing that in life.
I knew I had to start somewhere, but I didn’t know quite where. I was a teenager and didn’t really have any personal experience on increasing my vertical jump. I knew that although my vertical was not where it wanted to be, that it could improve. In fact, I realized that it could improve a lot. This was pre-internet days, so my research was much more work than hitting I’m Feeling Lucky
on google. I poured through books, magazines and research journals. Some of the information was crappy, but a lot of was really helpful. I used look through old newspaper clippings with a microfilm (I’m sure some of you don’t know what that is lol) to find out any information I could. I spent a lot of time reading books going back to the 1960s to learn anything that I didn’t know. I spoke with certified coaches and trainers as much I could. Even though I read and researched like a madman, I knew that in order to find out the real secrets, that I would need to speak to as many athletes as possible. Basketball was my sport, in fact it was my life. All I cared about was basketball and being the best basketball player I could be. Everything that I read and heard I put to the test in my own training. Over the course of many years, I learned exactly what worked and what didn’t. I learned how hard I had to work to get the vertical that I always wanted. I learned that you are going to have to work and work HARD. Obtaining a high vertical will NOT come easy.
I eventually (with years of hard work) was able to achieve the vertical that I always wanted. It improved my game, but more important it improved my overall self-confidence. I felt like a much better player just because I improved my vertical. I felt fearless and played with so much more confidence. I was always a talented player and was a great all-around player. I was a great shooter and really great ball handler. Even though I felt good as a player with my abilities, learning how to jump better and dunk raised my confidence SO much higher. It took me a lot of time and a lot of dedication, but in the end, it was ALL worth it. Everything that I read and learned proved to be true in the end. This program was designed from years of reading and research. It came from years of speaking and interviewing high jumpers that range from high school jumpers to NBA Slam Dunk Contest Winners. More importantly I spent hours upon hours in the gym, the court and the field working hard on my vertical. I probably learned more from those hours than from I learned from my YEARS of research.
This book was written to help you the player increase your vertical. I know you want to jump higher and learn how to dunk a basketball. This is not a medical journal and not written from a medical perspective. This book was written for you the player by me another former player. This eBook was written without medical jargon or long muscle names. This eBook was made to take a great vertical program and for it to be simplified and easy. This book was made for the basketball player to understand.
I know exactly what it is like to be on the outside looking. From here though now, I know what it is like being on the inside looking out. This book is your invitation to the inside. You will now know all the inside secrets that you were never able to find out. You will know now exactly what you need to do, when you need to do it and even more importantly what NOT to do. Just because something is posted online to increase your vertical, doesn’t mean that it exactly works. Everything included here WILL increase your vertical. I know you can do it. I know you realize your dream of dunking. I know you can realize your dream of being a jumping machine. All those things that you day dream of doing on the basketball CAN happen. In fact, it WILL happen. Get ready to read,
